Iriomote 西表島 4 浦内川

I got to Urauchi river. I took a sightseeing boat, went up the river for 8km.
浦内川に到着。ここから遊覧船に乗って、ジャングルクルーズ。


Ten passengers sat on the left side seats to see more beautiful scenery.
左側の方が景色良いとのアナウンスで、約10人の乗客はみんな左側へ。


There were mangrove trees.
マングローブの森。潮が満ちていて、特徴的な根っこが分かりませんね。



These ferns reminded me of my previous trip in 2005.
2005年に訪れた時のことを思い出しました。恐竜が出てきそう。


We arrived at the turning back point. Some people turned back here, some people landed and headed an observation point for a big waterfall.
もうすぐ船着場。ここで引き返す人と、ここから山道を歩いて滝を見に行く人に分かれます。


I landed and walked on the path for the observation point. It was cloudy. But it was hot to walk in July. I remembered that it had been a pleasant walking in December.
山道を、てくてくお散歩。滝が見える展望台に向かいました。
曇っていましたが、夏のお散歩は暑かった。そういえば、2005年12月のハイキングはちょうど良い気温で、快適でした。


This root was like a board.
板根もお散歩中に見れました。


There were some small waterfalls and streams.
小さな滝や、小川がいくつかありました。




The observation point was soon.
滝が見える場所まで、あと少し。
