Mt. Rokko

I was almost the top of the mountain.

There was a restaurant near the top. I walked down from here to Arima Onsen.

Everyone is easy to walk on the pathway.

It was difficult to move on because the autumn colors were so wonderful.

There was a new rest place on the pathway. There used to be a restaurant.

Wild boars dig up in many places.

I finally arrived at Arima Onsen. A hot spring gushes out here.

Mt. Rokko

I kept on walking on a pathway along a stream. It was comfortable to hear the sound of stream.

I crossed streams a few times.

I found remains of summer.

Birds were singing.

I often stopped walking and looked up. The colors of leaves were amazing. There were many people enjoying walking under the autumn colors. Some people were running.

Mt. Rokko

I went hiking at Mt.Rokko to see the autumn color, and enjoyed Arima Onsen.

I noticed a sign of bus timetable. The bus takes you to the start point of the trail from Sumiyoshi JR station.

I met local people who enjoy walking or jogging almost everyday.

The autumn color was beautiful.

There were pretty flowers.

Pathways were crossing.

This is one of them, Ishikiri-Michi. Granite stone was cut and carried on this pathway.

I walked on Sumiyoshi-Michi, not Ishikiri-Michi in this time.

Gosuke Dam. Wild boars live in Mt. Rokko.

I passed Gosuke Dam. There were streams and

a pond.

Shima

The last destination of my Shima trip was Daio. Daio has many picturesque places. So it's called the town for painters.

I climbed up stairs of Daiozaki lighthouse.

Daio is a fishing village.

I kept on walking around the lighthouse.

Whale hunting used to held in this place. Sometimes oval stones were found from stomach of whales. They were called Kujira-ishi, whale stone.

Fishing boats were leaving. Daio has lots of stone walls, stone steps and alleys. If I'd had time more, I could've found out more lovely places.
