Teuri 天売島 5 サイクリング

After the boat tour, I went around the island by a rental electric bicycle.
観光船から降りた後、電動自転車で天売島をお散歩。さあ、ここから急な坂です。ちょっと休憩。海を眺めました。


Sea birds were flying after and after.
海鳥たちが、左から右へ次から次へと飛んで行きます。


There was a steep slope to Akaiwa observation point.
前日、夜のウトウツアーでバスで通りましたが、この坂はホント急なんです。。。


I needed to take a rest on the slope. Pretty flowers encouraged me.
辺りの景色や花を楽しみながら、電動自転車のアシストを頼りに登って行きました。




Finally I arrived at the observation point. There were lots of rhinoceros auklets' nests. When I had lunch there, I saw a couple climbing up with bicycles. I had met them on the boat tour. I talked them about rhinoceros auklets and how wonderful the scenery had been the previous night. They said that they were going to join the tour on the night.

赤岩展望台に到着しました。辺りはウトウの巣穴だらけです。巣穴の奥には、ヒナたちが一羽ずついるはずです。親たちは、海にいて夜まで戻ってきません。
ここでお昼ご飯をしていると、自転車を押して登ってくる人。観光船で出会った、札幌から来られた夫婦でした。夜のウトウの話をすると、「宿の人からそういうツアーがあるとは聞いていたけど、夕食をゆっくり食べていたので行かなかった。ぜひ今夜は来てみよう。」と。
