Yachi-onsen 谷地温泉

Yachi-onsen surrounded by woods was isolated and quiet place. It had been closed for six months because of bankruptcy, then it reopened in July last year.

谷地温泉。森林に囲まれた、一軒宿。
昨年の１月、経営難のために閉館。その約半年後に復活しました。再開のことをインターネットで知り、春を待てずに訪れました。閉館していた約半年に、湯の花が20cmくらい積もっていたそうです。
日本三秘湯といわれ、何週間も滞在する人や、リピーターが多い。私は3-4回目で、宿泊は初めて。


There were two bathtubs of different temperature. I prefer lower temperature (38℃), I soaked there for 30 or 60 minutes.

源泉は３種類。ぬるめの湯（38℃）の下の湯（霊泉）、熱めの湯（42℃）の上の湯、上がり湯。ぬるめの湯に30-60分入って、熱めの湯に5-10分。
ヒバ造りの浴槽で、のんびり～。来て良かった～。
外には大きなツララ。


There was the start point of a trail up the mountain.
高田大岳の山頂付近が見えました。八甲田山系への登山口があります。


A cute marten often comes to Yachi-onsen to get food around 7 pm in winter. There were its footprints on the snow.
冬の19-20時頃、裏山からテンがやって来て、食堂から見れることがあるそうです。足跡が残っていたので、昨夜もやってきたのでしょう。


There was Yachi Marsh next to the onsen.
温泉の隣には、谷地湿原が広がっていました。


I'd like to stay at Yachi-onsen for a few days next time.
谷地温泉では、あと2-3泊したかったと思いつつ、青森経由で帰路につきました。
