Lakeside 十和田湖畔

After cruising, I took a walk on the pathway along the lake.
観光船から降りて、湖畔をてくてくお散歩。



There were swans. I remembered a fairy tale, The Ugly Duckling.
白鳥の親子。童話「みにくいアヒルの子」を思い出す。


There were small shrines on a small island.
島には、小さなお社が見えました。


It was a pleasant walk under the sunshine.
ずいぶん歩いて来ました。
朝の吹雪はどこへやら。とても良い天気。


Snow looked soft and warm.
雪がふんわり、柔らかく見えました。


This bronze statue is Otome-no-zo by Takamura Kotaro.

There were icicles along the shoreline.
湖岸に波打つ水が凍って、ツララになっていました。
