Asahikawa Winter Festival 2

There were ice sculptures on the street. The world competition was held. They were amazing works!
旭川駅前から、約1km続く平和通買物公園。
ここでは、氷彫刻世界大会が開催されていました。昨年、ブログで見た作品がとても素晴らしく、今回とても楽しみでした。


I was surprised at ice insects.
夏を思い出させる昆虫を、氷で表現されていてびっくり。


It looks like a real. Especially I was impressed on these wings.
羽や足、触覚も氷と思えないほど美しい。

ベルも、もちろん氷。


Many snowman made by local people welcomed visitors. They have different expressions.
街のあちこちで出迎えてくれた、雪だるまたち。それぞれ表情が違います。

I was impressed on this work.
「布」一番気になった作品。柔らかい布を、固い氷で表現されていました。
