Shirakawa-go 2 白川郷

I looked wonderful photos on a book at a restaurant. It said the place where the photo was taken, so I went there.

甘いものが食べたくなり、お店に入って、とち餅入りのぜんざいをいただきました。お店にあった白川郷の写真集を見ていて、印象に残った写真の撮影地を探しに行きました。よくポスターなどに使われたり、関西私鉄のプリペイドカードにある風景でした。
ところで、ぜんざいはとても美味しくて、芋の煮物や固めの豆腐なども付いていて、昼食を二度摂ったようでした。写真を撮りたいと思った時には、半分以上食べていました。。。


I took a walk around there. There were rice fields after harvest time. If the sun had been shining, the color of mountains would've been more bright.

あたりを、てくてくお散歩。晴れていれば、山々の色がもうすこし鮮やかだったんじゃないかしら。




Sightseeing buses left in the evening, the village was getting quiet.
夕方になると、観光バスが次々と帰っていくので、急に静かになっていきました。



A local woman was giving an interview of TV program.
TVの収録でしょう。地元のおばちゃんにインタビューしていました。


I stayed there one night. I met a 86-year-old woman and a 90-year-old woman at the guesthouse. They were younger than their age, looked happy on a trip with their children.

茅葺きの民宿で一泊しました。同じ宿には、86歳の母親と旅している男性、90歳の母と一泊旅行の姉妹。どちらのおばあちゃんも、その年齢に見えない程お若く、元気をもらいました。
