Daigoji 醍醐寺の桜 ２

I visited Reihokan. At first I entered a museum to see statues and drawings, then I went out a garden to see cherry blossoms.
次に霊宝館を訪れました。まず仏像や絵画を鑑賞した後、お庭を散策しました。鳥たちは桜の花の蜜に夢中でした。


People gathered around this big tree. It was so big, I couldn't believe that these branches were from one trunk.
人が集まっていた桜の木。とてもとても大きく、見事な枝っぷり。これが１本の木だなんて、信じられませんでした。


It was difficult to take a picture of whole tree.
とても一枚の写真に収まりません。


It was amazing. If the day had been a weekend, people should have been in line to see the tree.
ぐぐーっと枝が伸びています。すごい迫力です。
しばらく眺めていました。週末でなくて良かった〜。土日は人だかりでしょう。


There were other gorgeous cherry trees in the garden.
辺りを見回すと、まったく見劣りしない素晴らしい桜がまだまだありました。

This cherry tree looked like a woman in kimono.
眺める角度で、表情も変わります。この桜は、着物の女性のように見えました。


I took a walk in the temple.
醍醐寺内をお散歩。金堂。


There was an elegant five-storied pagoda.
五重塔が凛々しく立っていました。


Bentendo. I'd like to visit Daigoji again in different seasons.
弁天堂の池。
また、違う季節にも訪れてみたいところでした。
