Museums in Nice 美術館

On September 27th, I visited Matisse Museum and Chagall Museum. At first I headed to Matisse Museum on foot, it was a pleasant walk. There was the museum in a park.
この日は、朝から曇り空。お散歩しながらマチス美術館へ。小高い住宅地に公園があり、その中にマチス美術館がありました。


There were lots of olive trees in the park. Maybe it was the first time to see olive trees, I thought they were unique, as if they were walking. There were people siting on benches, walking, jogging in the park.
公園にはオリーブの木がたくさん。オリーブの木って、こんなに個性的なんだ。今にも動き出しそう。人々は、ベンチでのんびりしたり、お散歩したり。

After I took a walk in the park, enterd the museum.
公園を少しお散歩した後、マチス美術館へ。とっても楽しみにしていたので、わくわく。


There were drawings around windows, as if they were ornaments. In the musuem, there were drawings for preparing of Matisse’s Chapelle du Rosaire in Vence. They were so nice.
窓の周りにはだまし絵。建物の中にも、壁や天井にだまし絵はありました。
マチスに囲まれた空間は、期待以上。ソファーに座って作品を鑑賞したり。作品にはヴァンスの礼拝堂の下絵や習作もあり、感動再びでした。


There were ruins next to the museum. When I had lunch in the park, I heard the sound of thunder. I headed to Chagall Museum in a hurry.
マチス館周辺には調査中の遺跡がありました。ベンチで昼食をしていると、雷の音が。。。雨が降り出す前に、シャガール美術館へ急ぎました。


At the moment I reached Chagall Museum, outside was terrible thunder storm. I stayed in the museum for three hours, untill the thunder storm went away.
There was a small concert hall in it. I stayed there to see the staind glass and relax.
シャガール美術館は、写真撮影可。お気に入りの作品をパチパチ。
ここには小さなホールがありました。ピアノにも、シャガールは描いていました。
シャガール美術館に着いてすぐ雷雨が始まり、なかなかおさまらない。このホールには１時間くらいいて、ステンドグラスを眺めていました。


I noticed there were fish and birds in it.
絵の中には、お魚や鳥たちが隠れていました。
３時間後、やっと雷雨が上がりました。
美術館に閉じ込められるのも、よいものです。
