Pigeon Valley 鳩の谷

The next stop was Pigeon Valley.
次の停車は、「鳩の谷」でした。


There was a shop at a car park.
かわいい〜！　お店より、先に景色を見ましょう〜。


I was happy to hear that the hotel we stayed for two nights was near here.
ここが、「鳩の谷」です。ホテルは、このすぐそばだと聞いて、こんな絶景の場所に２泊もできるなんて！と感激。




There were a lot of pigeon's nests made by people. People use pigeon's droppings as manure for vineyards.
なぜ「鳩の谷」かというと、この小窓の場所は、全部鳩の巣。年に一度、巣を壊して鳩の糞を集め、ブドウ畑の肥料にするそうです。
