Arashiyama 嵐山

I visited Arashiyama by bus from Asahikawa station. I had been there in spring and summer. But it was the first time to visit there in winter, so I was wondering if I could walk on the snow at Arashiyama.

旭川駅前からバスで約20分。約10分歩くと、嵐山。ここを訪れるのは３回目ですが、冬は初めてなのでお散歩できるのかどうか、ドキドキ。

北邦野草園の入り口のそばにあるアイヌの伝統家屋（笹小屋）は、シートをかぶっていました。春の笹小屋。


There was a track toward an observation point of Arashiyama. I climbed on it.
Hoppo Yasoen was closed, covered with snow. Hoppo Yasoen in spring was full of flowers.

嵐山の展望台へと続く道に足跡があり、そこをたどって登ってみました。わりと急な坂。
北邦野草園は雪をかぶって、お休み中。
春は一面、お花畑でした。春の北邦野草園。


I met a woman who wore snowshoe or short ski on my way. She went down pleasantly.

途中、スノーシューか短いスキーを履いた女性に出会いました。「良い天気で気持ちいいですね〜」彼女は、新雪の上をすいすいと下って行きました。


I finally reached at the observation point.
展望台に到着。旭川の町が眼下に広がっていました。




After I enjoyed the view of Asahikawa, I started walk down.
It was quiet. The sound I heard was only birds songs.

たっぷり景色を楽しんだ後、また雪の中お散歩。
静かな世界。聞こえてくるのは、小鳥の声。



Walking on the snow in woods was so fun, I made a detour.

雪の中のお散歩が楽しくて、帰りは回り道のコースを選びました。急な斜面を横切る道もあって、ドキドキしながらも、楽しい〜。


I came back to the start point.
笹小屋の青いシートが見えてきました。


I had a great time at a park, a zoo, woods and a winter festival in Asahikawa.
