I was impressed Seirin-ji and Nagomi-no-Oka when I was strolling in Wakura-Onsen town.
和倉温泉街のお散歩で印象に残ったのは、青林寺と和みの丘公園。
The main temple of Seirin-ji
本堂。
Gobenden was built in 1909 for the Crown Prince staying at Wakura-Onsen. It was repaired and moved to Seirin-ji in 1976.
御便殿。明治42年に建築されて、大正天皇や昭和天皇がまだ皇太子だった頃に宿泊されたとか。昭和51年に修築され、ここに移築されたそうです。
There was Nagomi-no-Oka behind Seirin-ji. It was a pleasant walking among trees and bamboo grove.
青林寺の本堂の後ろには、和みの丘公園。森林の中をお散歩できます。
ツツジなどもあり、季節の花が咲くのでしょう。
I met a man with his dog, he told me to ring the bell on the hill.
和みの丘をお散歩中、犬を連れた男性に「鐘をついてくださいね」と声をかけられました。
The bell was called Nagomi-no-Kane. I rang the bell three times, and prayed. The view was amazing, I felt like my wish would come true soon.
「和みの鐘」海を望む景色が素晴らしい。鐘をついてお祈りすると何でも叶いそうな、そんな気がしました。
I came back to the main temple. There was one of the Seven Gods of Good Fortune, Hotei-sama.
本堂へ戻ってきました。ここにも七福神のひとりが。
I noticed a dog looking at me by Gobenden. The man I met at Nagomi-no-Oka must be the chief priest of Seirin-ji.
お散歩中に出会ったワンコ。。。出会った男性は、この寺の住職さんだったのでしょう。

和倉温泉が楽しいですね。
退屈しのぎに七福神巡りもありますか。
温泉だけではない何かを街の人たちが考えるのでしょうな。

「七福神めぐり」「モーニングウオーク in 青林寺」「サンセットクルーズ」などなど、季節によりいろんな企画が立てられて、楽しそうでした。
今年は暖冬のせいか、帰りに金沢の兼六園に寄ろうかと思ったのですが、雪がないようで次回にしました。
着いた日は暖かく、びっくりしました。。。が、次の日はがくんと気温が下がって、雪がちらつきました。。。
