Yakushima -wild life - 動物たち

Yakushika. They were smaller than deer in Honshu.
屋久島のアイドル、ヤクシカ。体格はやや小さく、かわいい。



Yakuzaru.
People haven’t fed them, so they didn’t know that people had food. Tourists were said not to feed them. If they learn that people give them food, they might start attacking people to get food.
ヤクザル。やはり小さめで、かわいい。
餌付けされていないので、人を見ても寄ってこない。観光客に対して、決してえさをあげないように呼びかけていた。人が食べ物をくれることを覚えてしまうと、本島のサルのように人を襲ったりするようになってしまうから。。。

ヤクシマランドのげじげじ。


I saw the deer from a bridge in the end of pathway in Yakushima-land. At first, I thought it was a fake. Because it didn’t move at all and looked darker than deer I had seen before. But I noticed his ear moved.
Soon after, about 50 people passed by me on the bridge. He disappeared into the forest. None of 50 people didn’t notice him.
ヤクシマランドの出口近くの橋から見えた。全く動かないし、今まで見たシカよりも色が黒っぽいので、作り物かと思った。と、片耳が動いた。
約50人の団体がこの橋を通過した後、もう姿はなかった。誰もこのシカに気づいていなかった。
