Asahiyama Zoo 旭山動物園

The sightseeing bus ran on a circular route in Asahikawa. I took the bus, visited Asahiyama Zoo, Arashiyama and Mihonrin forest.
The bus left the middle of the city, ran along fields.
At first, I visited Asahiyama Zoo. It was crowded. There were many children on their summer holidays.
I waited in line for Penguin kan.

旭川では、旭川観光循環バス“ファンファン”が走っていて、私が行きたいと思っていた「旭山動物園」「嵐山」「外国樹種見本林」にも停車するので、利用した。
バスが市街地から離れると、田園風景。ポニーの姿も見える。
まずは、旭山動物園。朝から人がいっぱい。夏休みのため子どもも多いし、外国人も多い。ペンギン館は大人気。


Penguins were flying in the water.
おー、ペンギンが水中を飛んでいる。


People were walking in the water.
おー、人が水中を歩いている。


Seals were swimming through a tube.
あざらし君、気持ち良さそう。


Seals were swimming in front of people.
今日も人が多いなぁ。


There were ropes and baskets for animals playing.
動物達が遊べるように、いろいろ工夫されている。


A chimpanzee was playing with a rope.
ロープで遊ぶ、チンパンジーのこども。


The zoo was at the foot of Asahiyama.
この動物園は、旭山のふもとにあり、景色も良い。


Three chimpanzees were sitting on the tube, which people were walking through.
ドームの上には、チンパンジーの親子。「今日は、いろんな人が通っているね。」と、話しているのかな。
人間が動物を見ているのか、動物が人間観察しているのか。


“Don’t disturb my siesta.”
昼寝してるんだから、静かにしてよね。


“It’s very hot in this year!”
しかし、今年は暑いなぁ。
