Ireland 5 アラン諸島 in 2004

Aran Islands. I visited the biggest island, Inishmore Island. This is the postcard I bought at the island.

アラン諸島。子どもの頃からアラン模様（縄編み）のセーターを編むのが好きだったこともあり、ぜひ行ってみたいと思っていた。
ゴールウェイからバスとフェリーでアラン諸島の中で一番大きな島、イニシュモア島へ。

I got Inishmore Island by ferry, rent a bicycle.
フェリーから降り、レンタサイクル。ここで、前日のバスツアーで出会った南アフリカ人男性に再会し、途中まで一緒に走る。


I followed the recommend course in the island. I often took a rest on the slopes.
ガイドマップのおすすめコースを走る。少しの船酔いと登りの坂道で、何度も休憩。


There were many ruins made of stones.
遺跡や古い石造建築がたくさんあった。





I headed to Dun Aonghasa.
この先の古代遺跡まで、行ってみました。


I ran the pathway along the sea, too.
海沿いにも道があって、そこはほぼ平坦でした。


There was a cemetery. Dun Aonghasa is soon.
ケルト文化が感じられるお墓。
古代遺跡のドン・エンガスまで、あと少し。
