Iwami Ginzan 石見銀山 1

On the second day of my trip, I had planed to wake up early morning to walk on a hiking path. But I heard the sound of rain, so I gave up the hiking and fell asleep again. When the rain stopped, I got up and looked outside. It was cloudy and a little blue sky. I decided to visit Iwami Ginzan.
I took a bus from Odashi station, headed to Omori-daikansho-ato. I got off the bus stop. Iwami Ginzan area was about 3km along a stream and a street, from Omori-daikansho-ato to Ryugenji-mabu. There were buses between them, many people took a bus one way and walked one way.

旅の２日目。石見銀山から温泉津温泉にお散歩しようかな、と早めに目覚まし時計をセットしていたのですが、夜中から雨の音。雨の音がおさまった７時になって、やっとベッドからでました。外は曇りで、ほんの少し晴れ間も。急いで支度して、出発。
JR大田市駅からバス約30分で大森代官所跡。坑道の通り抜けができる龍源寺間歩まで約３kmあり、その間にバスが頻発していました。片道はバスで片道はお散歩をする人が多いようです。私以外はバスを乗り換えて、龍源寺間歩へ行ってしまいました。


I visited Kigami shrine near the bus stop. I was alone, so it was quiet.
大森代官所の近くの城上神社。誰もいなくて静かでした。


I went in the main temple, and looked up its ceiling. There was a drawing of a dragon, it was said “Nakiryu”. If you clap your hands under it, you might hear its voice.
本堂に入り天井を見上げると、龍が描かれていました。「鳴龍」と言われているそうで、真下で手を打つと龍が鳴くように聞こえます。


Leaves were red and yellow, so beautiful.
境内の木々の紅葉も素晴らしかった。


I started walking toward Ryugenji-mabu on the street through the town.
城山神社を出て、町並みをお散歩。ここは、医院だったと思います。なんだか懐かしい感じがしました。


Traditional houses were along the street.
古い家屋が続きます。


I went up the stone stairs, there was a small temple.
石段を登ると、小さなお寺の観世音寺がありました。大森の町を高台から見守っているようでした。


Some shops used traditional houses.
普通の民家以外に、民家でお店をされているところもたくさんありました。平日の朝は、まだ閉まっていましたが。


There were holes of maples at the frame.
イチョウやモミジが見えますか？　洒落てますね。


An old mailbox and old houses
郵便ポストもレトロです。


Rakan-ji had two caves 501 stone statues of Buddha settled. They were built in 18th century.
羅漢寺の五百羅漢の石窟。18世紀に、銀山で亡くなった人々や祖先の霊を供養するため、羅漢像501体が安置されました。


I walked over the stone bridge, went in the caves. Each Buddha had different expression.
石橋の「反り橋」を渡って、拝観します。羅漢像それぞれが、いろいろな表情をされていました。
