Kohama-jima 4 集落

I left the seashore, walked among fields, headed to the village.
海から畑の横の道を通り、集落へ向かった。竹富島のようにサンゴの石垣が並ぶ。


Kohagura-so. TV drama “Churasan” was shot here.
ここが“こはぐら荘”。あっ、“ちゅらさん”見てなかったんだ。

A straight road which was called Sugar Road.
“シュガーロード”。まっすぐな道。


There were fields of sugarcane on the both sides of Sugar Road.
シュガーロードの両側は、サトウキビ畑。


This was the wonderful gift from Kohama-jima on the last moment of the trip.
The color of the sea reminded me of the textile fabrics of Yaeyama, Minsa-ori.
この旅の、最後の八重山諸島からの贈り物。
この海の色！！　八重山の織物、ミンサー織が思い浮かびました。
