Taketomi -wild life- 蝶・鳥

There were lots of butterflies in Taketomi.
It was Sujigurokabamadara.
竹富島を歩き始めて、真っ先に出迎えてくれたのが、たくさんの蝶。
歩き進むたびに、そばの蝶が次々に飛び立つ。夢の楽園のよう。
このオレンジ色の蝶は、スジグロカバマダラ。


Ryukyuasagimadara. They were nervous, so it was difficult to take pictures of them.
この水色の蝶は、リュウキュウアサギマダラ。とてもシャイで、なかなか写真を撮らせてくれない。


Ogomadara was bigger than other butterflies.
上の蝶よりひとまわり大きい、オオゴマダラ。YHのおじちゃんは、「あんまりいないよ」と言っていた。今回、この一匹しか見なかった。


Japanese green pigeon. It was sitting on a branch of a tree beside a path, looking at people walking or riding a bicycle.
コンドイミチ沿いの木に止まって、この道を行き交う人間を見ていたアオバト。10分くらい見てたけど、ずっとここにいた。


I noticed a bird walking in the bush. It was a kind of heron, Zuguromizogoi. They are near threatened species.
幸本御獄で、がさっと音がしたので見ると、ハトよりひとまわり大きい鳥と目が合った。
サギ科のズグロミゾゴイの幼鳥。準絶滅危惧種。


It was walking away into the bush.
とてもシャイで、てくてく歩いて草木の奥へ去って行きました。
