Dardanelles ダーダネルス海峡

We arrived at Istanbul Airport via Doha. We met our Turk guide who spoke Japanese fluently and our two bus drivers at the airport car park. Our bus run along the coast of Marmara Sea which is between Asia and Europe.

ドーハ経由でイスタンブールの空港に到着。トルコはマルマラ海をはさんで、アジアとヨーロッパにまたがる国。ヨーロッパ側のマルマラ海沿いをバスは進みます。船が行き交っていました。


I don't know why, but sunrise and sunset in Turkey were amazingly beautiful everyday.
トルコでは、朝陽や夕陽がとてもきれいでした。


I was dozing in the bus, so I didn't notice when our bus went on a ferry. The ferry took us to Asia from Europe at Dardanelles Strait.
バスの中でうとうとしていると、いつの間にかバスのままフェリーに乗り込んでいました。ダーダネルス海峡を渡り、アジア側のチャッカレに向かいます。


There was a stand. He might sell steamed corn.
となりのフェリーの前には、湯気の出ている屋台が。トウモロコシでしょうか。


It took about thirty minutes.
約30分の船旅。


Boats and ferries were coming and going.
多くのフェリーが行き交います。


We arrived at a hotel at night. On the following morning, I noticed that I could see the strait from my room.
夜にホテルに到着したので、気付きませんでした。部屋からはダーダネルス海峡が見渡せました。お散歩している人たちがいる。ホテルを飛び出して、


I walked along the coast.
海岸をてくてくお散歩。


There were birds floating on the water.
海鳥たちがいました。


They had white beaks looked like makeup. They often dived to get food.
くちばしが白くて、おしろいを塗っているよう。水に潜って、朝食中。


I went back to the hotel, got on our tour bus.
出発時間が近づいてきました。ホテルに戻らなきゃ。
