Watendlath, a small village I visited on the last day of my stay in the Lake District. I walked over a hill and along a stream, then I reached there.
Watendlath、湖水地方で訪れた最後の場所。道を間違えそうになりながら丘を越え、小川沿いをてくてくお散歩。
建物が見えると、そこがWatendlathでした。
Two horses welcomed me.
馬たちも出迎えてくれました。
There was a stone bridge.
石橋。いつ造られたのかしら。
I looked back the stone bridge. It was so beautiful.
石橋を渡って、振り返りました。
I saw many birds and animals. The place seemed like a paradise for them.
生き物たちが、たくさん住んでいました。
Watendlath Tarn. This place might be the quietest village in the Lake District. It was a really beautiful village.
Watendlath湖。 ひっそり、静かで神秘的。湖水地方の中でも、いちばん静かな村かもしれません。とても美しい場所でした。

ところどころに見える建造物が歴史を感じる石造りで、日本とはちがうことがわかります。
美瑛などより更に奥地の鄙びたところのようです。
ひっそり感が魅力的！
自動車があったので車道があったようですが、たぶんバスなどはなかったと思います。出会った人も少なく、山あいのひっそりした楽園。最高ーでした。
