I walked down slowly on the snow.
斜面の雪渓をゆっくり下ります。
It was a steep slope.
振り返ると、斜面が急だったと分かります。
I reached the bottom of the valley.
ムーミン谷まで下りてきました。向こうから、国見温泉から登ってきたという人たちがやってきました。目の前の大きな雪渓に、みなさんびっくり。私をガイドしてくれているおじさまが、歩く方向を案内していました。
Snow had disappeared at some places. Flowers started blooming.
雪解けしたばかりなので、ショウジョウバカマが生き生きと咲いていました。
These white flowers are Chinguruma.
チングルマは咲き始めたばかり。

looked like a small forest.
雪解けしたばかりの地に、芽吹いています。
I looked back toward the steep slope, but I couldn't see it because of a thick fog.
青空が時々見えてきましたが、振り返ると霧で下りてきた雪渓は見えません。
At the time I was fun to walk on the snow.
この頃には、雪の上を歩くのが楽しくなっていました。
There were lots of lovely flowers, Hinazakura.
ヒナザクラがいっぱい。
After flowering, they look like windmills, chinguruma.
チングルマ。
おじさまいわく、今年は寒さのためチングルマは咲いてもすぐに散って、すぐ”チングルマ”になってしまうとか。
They are cute!
