The solar eclipse 部分日食

There was an eclipse of the sun today. I flew to Kagoshima yesterday. I had planed to watch the solar eclipse at Kagoshima. But the weather forecast said that it would rain heavily. So I headed to Hakata in the northern part of Kyushu. When I reached at Ohori-Koen, many people were watching the sun.

日本各地で、皆既日食や部分日食が見れた今日。私も見てみたいと思い、日食グラスを持って、昨日鹿児島入り。ところが、今朝の天気予報で、九州南部に梅雨前線があり、大雨の警報やら注意報やら。
急遽、九州新幹線つばめと特急リレーつばめに乗って、博多へ。
大濠公園へ行くと、人々がたくさん集まっていました。




I could see the sun clearly through a black glass which was for watching the sun. The edge of the sun began to disappear.

日食グラスで太陽を見ると、はっきり一部が欠けているのが見える！
うっすら雲がかかっていたので、暑くなく、でも太陽の姿は日食グラスではっきり見えました。
写真の撮り方が分からないので、日食グラスを通して撮ってみましたが、やはりうまく撮れませんでした。この時は90%ちかく欠けていたのですが。。。


The sun streaming through the leaves of trees were crescent-shaped as same as the shape of the sun.
木漏れ日を見てみると、三日月のような形。



I noticed many people gathered, they were doing something. They were watching the shape of the sun through tiny holes.
人々が十人ちかく集まっていました。近づくと、プリペイドカードの小さな穴を通して、太陽の形を紙に映していました。


They were crescent-shaped.
三日月の形。見えるかしら。。。


People used my black glass. They were really pleased to watch the sun.
木漏れ日も紙に映すと分かりやすい。三日月型。
集まっていた人たちに、私の日食グラスを貸してあげると、みんな歓声を上げながら見ていました。


It was getting light and hot after the solar eclipse.
太陽の約9割が欠けた時には、なんとなく薄暗くなったような。
そして、だんだん明るく、暑くなってきました。


I was happy to spend joyful time with local people.
地元の人たちと一緒に日食を楽しめて、良かった〜。
