Cairns 木登カンガルー 2

 We went to a forest to look for tree-kangaroos. We found one.

車に乗って、他の場所でキノボリカンガルー探し。

高い木の上に、また一頭いました。

 She was jumping on the tree.

木の上をぴょんぴょんと、移動していきます。

 Where did she move to?

どこへ行ったかしら？

 Our guide had seen a mother and a baby around here. We looked for them. 

数日前に、キノボリカンガルーの親子がいたらしく、少し離れた場所で探します。

 We headed to a river.

川へ。

 We fed turtles and fish.

カメや魚にえさをあげました。

 We couldn't see a mother and a baby. We went back to see the tree-kangaroo which we had seen before.

親子は見つからず、元のキノボリカンガルーの様子を見に行きました。

 She was hiding.

高い木の葉に隠れていました。

 We went to Tree Kangaroo Cafe for dinner.

さぁ、夕食。Tree Kangaroo Cafeの前の木の上には、

 There was a wood carving of tree-kangaroo.

木彫りのキノボリカンガルーでしょうか。

 I had a steak

ステーキを選びました。

and dessert. There was a tree-kangaroo on a plate.

デザート。ここにも、キノボリカンガルー！　長いしっぽが特徴的。
