Amami -flowers 緋寒桜

On January 15th, cherry trees (Hikan-zakura) were blooming at a park near Kochiyama-tenbodai. He said “ The blooming is two weeks later than usual in this year because of warm winter.”
They were different from common cherry tree in Japan, Someiyoshino. They were darker pink and facing down.

1月15日、高知山展望台の近くの公園には緋寒桜（ひかんざくら）が咲いていた。「今年はなかなか寒くならなかったから、２週間くらい遅れてたよ。」
ソメイヨシノより濃いピンクで、うつむいて咲いていた。





I saw other flowers.
他の花も咲いていた。


The path led to Kochiyama-tenbodai. There were many plants such as common fern in Amami, Hikagehego.

この公園から、この遊歩道を5分程上がると高知展望台に着く。
辺りにはヒカゲヘゴなど、植物がたくさん。


A nut of cycad and a pinecone. He said “ We used to eat nuts of cycad.”
ソテツの実と、松ぼっくり。
昔はソテツの実を食べたそうです。あくが強いので、あく抜きをしっかりしないといけないそうですが。
