Atami 熱海 2

I stayed at a hotel with a hot spring.
熱海で１泊。とても気持ち良い温泉宿で、素泊まり平日3980円は嬉しい。
熱海の町では、あちこちで湯煙が上がっていました。


Oyu Kanketsusen, an intermittent spring. It used be a great geyser, but it stopped spouting out in 1924. Now hot spring artificially spout out for three minutes at four-minute intervals.

大湯間歇泉。大正12年の関東大震災以降、噴出が止まっていましたが、昭和37年に復活工事されて、現在は4分ごとに3分間噴出しているそうです。



I took a stroll. I noticed a shrine on the other side of railway.
てくてくお散歩。おもしろい橋げただなぁと、写真を撮っていたら、トンネルの向こうに神社があるのに気付いた。


I went to the shrine. It had a huge tree which was over 2000 years old.
行ってみると、なんだかすごいみたい。


I was surprised that tree was huge.
これが大楠なのか〜！と感動して見ていたら、


But that was second bigger tree.
これは第二大楠で、大楠はもっと奥にあるらしい。


It was a main shrine.
本殿で手を合わせて、先に進みます。


It was the over 2000 years old tree. There was a pathway around it.
これが大楠。周囲に歩道がありました。


People prayed from behind.
後ろ側で手を合わせて、願いごとを言うらしい。
