Chaguchagu-umakko チャグチャグ馬っこ 1

I had three days holiday in June. When I was planning a trip for the holiday, I found that I could join the opening ceremony of Hayachine-san for climbers. I decided to visit Tono in Iwate prefecture.
On the day before the holiday, I heard “Chaguchagu-umakko” from TV. I had wanted to watch the festival for a long time. I decided to visit Morioka before heading Tono.

６月に３連休があり、さてどこへ行こうか。東北の山では、もう高山植物の花たちが咲いているかな、と調べてみた。早池峰山の山開き（6/10）に行ける日程だったので、岩手へ行くことにした。
遠野へまっすぐ行く予定だったけど、出発の前日、TVから「チャグチャグ馬っこ」と聞こえ、調べてみると、盛岡のチャグチャグ馬っこが６月第２土曜日（6/9）に開催される。遠野の前に盛岡へ向かった。一度見てみたかったんだー。


In the morning on June 9, I took a bus from Morioka station to Onikoshisozen Jinja. People and horses were preparing for the festival in front of the shrine.
朝、盛岡駅からシャトルバスに乗って、鬼越蒼前神社へ。神社前の駐車場では、馬も人も準備中。


They came in the shrine.
準備が整うと、神社入り。


They were in line.
次々とやってきます。


They prayed.
順番に神社でお参り。


Then they went to standby place.
お参りが終わると、待機場所へ向かいます。


There were about 100 horses, people and tourists…many people in the shrine. I could see horses in gorgeous costume and children on horses. Whenever horses moved, the bells of costume rang “chagu chagu” They stayed here until 9:30, the parade’s start.

約100頭の馬、参加者、観光客、カメラマン。。。
ここでは、近くで見れる。馬の顔って大きいなぁー！きれいな衣装！子どもたち、かわいいね。怖くないのかなぁ。
馬が動くたびに衣装に付いたたくさんの鈴が、ちゃぐちゃぐと鳴ります。
9時30分の出発まで、ここで過ごします。
