Kirishima Jingu 霧島神宮

I visited Kirishima in Kagoshima Prefecture on April 15.
When I arrived at Kagoshima Airport, the sky was covered with clouds. I wanted to go to Ebino Kogen, heights. I asked how to get there at the tourists information of the airport, I knew I needed to take a taxi from Hayashida Onsen. It might be raining at highland, so I changed the plan, headed to Kirishima Jingu by bus. I changed buses at Maruo.

以前から気になっていた霧島。温泉も恋しくなり、行ってみた。
4/15、朝の伊丹空港。8時前後の出発便が多く、予定時間より20分遅れで出発。
鹿児島は曇り時々雨。えびの高原へ行ってみたかったけれど、林田温泉からはバスがなくてタクシーらしく、天気も良くないので断念。バスで霧島神宮へ向かった。丸尾で乗り換え、約１時間。



Tsutsuji, Japanese azalea.
ツツジの花たち。花は小さめでかわいい。


Akebi.
アケビの花も、ひっそりと咲いていた。


I walked on the approach path.
参道を進むと、霧島神宮が見えてきた。


Main shrine.
美しい姿の本殿。


A drooping cherry tree was in full blooms beside the corridor of stairs.
登廊下の脇には、枝垂れ桜が咲いていた。


There was a sacred cedar in front of main shrine.
御神木の杉。


It seemed cherry tree next to the sacred cedar. A small cedar was growing on the tree.
御神木のそばにあった木。サクラの木のようでしたが、左右に分かれた幹の間から小さな杉の木が育っていました。御神木の種が芽吹いたのでしょうか？
