Heimaey -birds-

Birds lived in this island were not only puffins. There were countless birds on the cliffs. I guess there were several kinds of birds, but I recognized only three kinds, puffins, gulls and guillemots.
There were also many birds in the fields.
ヘイマエイにいる鳥は、パフィンだけじゃない。
断崖には無数の海鳥。いろいろな種類の鳥がいたんだろうけど、私にはパフィン、ウミガラス、カモメの３種類にしか分けられなかった。
草原にもにぎやかな鳥達。


They were singing each other.
この鳥は、仲間とよく鳴きあっていた。


It has an orange beak. They sang warming sound at me.
くちばしがオレンジのこの鳥は、警戒音のような声で鳴いていた。


I saw guillemots on a boat tour. They looked like penguins. But they can fly.
船から見たウミガラス。頭が黒くて、ペンギンみたい。もちろん飛べる。


Gulls were flying on the ascending air current.
カモメ。上昇気流にのって、気持ち良さそうに飛んでいた。時々、なんか変なのが来たなぁと、私を近くまで見に来た。


I left Heimaey. I flew to Reykjavík.
３日間過ごしたヘイマエイ島を後に、いったんレイキャヴィークに戻った。
