Aurora オーロラ

We could see aurora only twice on this trip. Maybe because of the global warming, everyday was rainy or cloudy. It wasn’t same as usual year.
On the first time, some people in our organized tour joined “aurora tour”. Our bus ran to find a gap in the clouds, finally we saw aurora around 11pm. I took this photo.
On the second time, from the airplane on our way to Japan. Some people hadn’t seen aurora until then. We were exited. It was like green beautiful curtain, moving slowly.

地球温暖化の影響か、雨や雲りの日が多くてオーロラを見ることができたのは２回だけ。
１回目。レイキャヴィークでは厚い雲だったのでオーロラツアーに参加したのはツアーの中の３分の１。ツアーのバスは雲の切れ目を目指して、国立公園内を走るがなかなかオーロラに出会えない。夜11時頃、やっと向こうの方にオーロラが現れて、撮った写真がこれ。
２回目。オーロラツアーに参加しなかった人は、一度も見れずにがっかりしていた帰りの飛行機。突然オーロラが現れ、機内は大歓声。窓側の席から交代で見ました。緑の光のカーテンがゆっくり動いていました。
