Akureyri アークレイリ

We flew to Akureyri on the third day in Iceland. We had lunch at a restaurant in a hotel. There were couples of husband and wife, sisters, honeymooners and individuals like me in our organized tour. And our ages were different, from 20s to 70s.
The snow was falling heavily, so we couldn’t see the fjord. We saw houses, a church and an university in Akureyri from bus. Then we headed to Mývatn.

アイスランド３日目。国内線に乗って、レイキャヴィークからアークレイリへ。アークレイリは大学もあり、アイスランドでは大きめの町。とはいえ、かわいい。残念ながら、雪のためフィヨルドの景色を楽しむことができなかった。
ホテルのレストランで昼食。ツアーのメンバーは約20人。夫婦、姉妹、新婚さん、そして私のように１人参加の人。年齢は20代から70代まで。
バスで市内観光をして、ミーヴァトンへ向かう。


We visited Goðafoss (waterfall of the Gods) on our way to Mývatn. But the snow were still falling heavily. We glanced at the waterfall, returned to the bus. If it was good weather, we could have seem vast landscape behind the waterfall.

途中、ゴーザフォス（神の滝）で停車。降る雪と積もった雪のため、滝を見たらみんなすぐバスへ戻る。晴れていれば、滝の後ろには広々とした景色があるらしい。
