Sapporo ホワイトイルミネーション

Sapporo in Hokaido is famous for its snow festival, Yukimatsuri, in February. A few weeks ago, I knew Sapporo White Illumination was held now, and it seemed nice, so I made a plan to visit there.

さっぽろホワイトイルミネーション。たまたまブログで見かけて、あまりにきれいなので、行ってみたくなった。12月16日までは、ミュンヘン・クリスマス市も行われていると知り、１泊２日で札幌を訪れた。


When I went to Odori-Koen around 5:30pm, the illumination had started. I walked in the park toward TV tower.

大通公園に着いた５時半過ぎには、もう暗くてライトアップされていました。雪がぱらぱら降っていましたが、氷点下のおかげで服が濡れることなく、風があまりなかったのでそんなに寒くなく過ごせました。
大通公園を歩きます。６時にテレビ塔のライトアップがいつものオレンジから、ブルー系の点滅に変わりました。ホワイトイルミネーションのバージョンなのでしょうか。


Trees were lighted up green and blue.

I kept on walking. The illuminations and people were increasing.
テレビ塔に近づくと、光が増えてきました。人も増えてきました。


This illumination of flowers was pretty.
お花のイルミネーション。


Sometimes the electric organ was played.
エレクトーンの演奏が行われていました。音楽に合わせて、近くのライトが点滅していました。


German Christmas Market in Sapporo was held in this park.
さらにテレビ塔に近づくと、ミュンヘン・クリスマス市の会場でした。


There were shops, which sold German food and drink, Christmas ornaments, Christmas cards, and so on.
クリスマスの小物などを売るお店や、ソーセージやホットワインが飲食できるお店が並んでいました。白いソーセージなどを食べ、クラムチャウダーで暖まりました。プラスチックのコップを洗浄して再利用されていて、さすがリサイクルの先進国、ドイツのお店だなぁと関心しました。
楽しくて、楽しくて。何周もしました。


Almonds and sunflower seeds were roasted, smelled nice.
アーモンドやひまわりの種を目の前でローストしていて、いい香り。試食しておいしかったので、買いました。食べ始めるとやめられないおいしさ。


I climbed up TV tower by elevator. I could see the whole illuminations from there. It was amazing view.
テレビ塔に登ると、会場全体が見渡せました。あまりにきれいで、うっとり。しばらく眺めていました。


I went back to the middle of lights.
テレビ塔から、また光の真ん中に戻りました。


I really enjoyed in the park. When I decided to leave the park, the lightup of TV tower changed into orange, usual color.

十分堪能して、そろそろホテルに戻ろうとした頃、テレビ塔のライトアップが元のオレンジに戻りました。８時半でした。のんびり楽しんでいたら、３時間も経っていたのでした。
札幌雪まつりも素敵だけれど、ホワイトイルミネーションもとても良い。行って良かった〜。

Miyajima 秋の宮島 2

I walked up to Momijidani Park to find autum colors of leaves. Most of leaves had fallen. But some leaves remained bright red, orange and yellow. They were so beautiful.

紅葉谷公園へ行ってみました。ほとんどの木は葉を落としていました。
でも、きまぐれさんやのんびりさんたちは葉を真っ赤、オレンジ、黄色に染めて、待っていてくれていました。光に映えるといっそう輝きます。








I’ll be back there at the middle of autumn colors season.
紅葉のピークの頃に、またいつか訪れてみたいと思います。

Miyajima 秋の宮島 1

I visited Miyajia in the beginning of December. The big Torii stood on the seashore.
12月初め、広島に出かけることがあり、大好きな宮島に寄ってみた。
海の大鳥居。なるほど、波に負けないように柱は下の方がどっしりしているのですね。


I saw the main shrine from the seashore.
海から見る本殿。


The ceremony was held with Japanses music, Gagaku.
本殿では、ちょうど儀式が行われてました。


I’ve been to Miyajima for several times. I noticed new things and interesting things every time. On this time, I was interested in this stone lantern.
宮島へは何度も訪れていますが、毎回新たな発見があります。
今回は、この石灯籠が気になりました。下はどっしり、上はかわいく乗っていました。


There were leaves of ginkgo on the roof, as if it was covered with snow.
紅葉は終盤。屋根の上にはイチョウの葉がふかふかと積もっていました。


I saw beautiful cherry blossoms here in spring.

Some dear seemed eating seaweed. When I was eating oysters in front of a shop, dear came to and annoyed me.
宮島には鹿がたくさん住んでいます。海岸では海草を食べているのかしら？焼き牡蠣を食べている時には、鹿たちが寄ってきて、大変でした。


I ate Anago-don, cooking conger eel. It was soft and delicious. I had some food, then I headed to a park to find autum colors.
名物のあなご丼。やわらかくて、おいしい。
商店街では揚げモミジまんじゅうも売っていて、、、けっこうオイシイ。
いろいろ食べてお腹が落ち着いたところで、紅葉が残っているか探しに行きました。

Tachikuekyo 立久恵峡

I visited Tachikuekyo, it took about thirty minutes from Izumoshi station by bus. This is the scene from the bus stop.
立久恵峡は出雲市駅からバスで約30分。鳥取・島根の旅の最終日に訪れた。バスを降りると、この景色。
11月中旬、紅葉見頃まであと少し。


The morning mist remained slightly.
朝霧がまだ少し残っていました。渓谷沿いに遊歩道がありました。


There was a walking path along the stream.
不老橋を渡ります。


There was a pathway above the path along the stream, I walked there. I had expected the view of the stream, colorful leaves and strange shapes of rocks, but the observation point was only one place.
渓流沿いの遊歩道の上部に、中国自然歩道があったので、そこを歩きました。期待に反して、展望できる場所は１カ所しかなかった。でも、奇岩が近くで見れました。


There was a temple, Reiko-ji.
渓流沿いの遊歩道に降りると、お寺がありました。霊光寺。


There were a lot of stone statues of Jizo.
千体仏。


I walked over a new bridge, Furankyo. The previous bridge was destroyed by a flood last year.
浮嵐橋。昨年の豪雨で破壊され、架け替えられたばかり。


There used be an observation point at the opposite side of the stream, but the landslide destroyed it. If I could have gone there, I would have seen a wonderful scenery.
対岸にある展望台から奇岩群と紅葉を眺めると素晴らしいのだろうけど、残念ながら通行止めでした。


I walked the pathway along the stream, went back to the bus stop.
渓流沿いの遊歩道を歩いて、バス停に戻りました。来て良かった〜。

Ginzan Kaido 銀の道 3

The sudden shower stopped after fifteen minutes I had sheltered, I started walking. Trees along the pathway protected me from light rain.

どしゃ降りの雨がおさまり、またお散歩を続けました。時々小雨が降りましたが、木々が傘代わり。最後まで傘をささずに歩けました。
道端にはかわいい花も咲いていて、お散歩を楽しくさせてくれました。


I walked through a village, Shimizu.
銀山街道の途中にもう一つの集落、清水。そこを過ぎると、また山道です。


Suddenly I heard the sound of train. The trains run along the coast, so I knew my destination was coming soon.
列車の走る音が聞こえてきました。列車は海沿いを走っているので、海が近づいていることが分かりました。


I walked down the stone stairs covered with moss. I noticed that I had seen a photo of the scene on my guidebook.
苔のついた石が並ぶ階段。振り返えると、ここがガイドブックに載っていた写真の場所だと気づく。


I reached the entrance of Ginzan Kaido. I walked on the paved road from here to Yunotsu.
ハイキングコースの終点。ここから温泉津まで、舗装道路を歩きます。


The guidepost said “Right, Ginzan Omori”
右、銀山大森と書いてあります。


Finally I arrived at Yunotsu Onsen. “Yakushiyu” is in top 12 of Japan Spa Association ranking, many tourinsts visit there. I went to “Motoyu”, the oldest hot spring in Yunotsu. I met local people in the bath, and enjoyed talking to them. We soaked ourselves in the bathtub and cooled down ourselves out of the bath, and soaked again. We stayed at Motoyu more than one hour.

温泉津温泉街。「薬師湯」は日本温泉協会認定五つ星の湯。源泉湯100%の旗が掲げられ、観光客に大人気。私は1400年以上前から湧出しているという「元湯」へ行ってみた。熱い湯、ぬるめの湯、湯座り湯の浴槽があったのですが、ぬるめの湯でも熱い！地元の年配の方５人と出会う。湯に浸かっては、上がって「身体を冷ましながら、また湯に浸かるんだよ」と。なるほど、熱い湯にも慣れてきて、とても気持ち良い湯になってきた。浴室、浴槽もレトロで趣きがありました。おしゃべりを楽しみながら、みんな１時間以上浴室にいました。

Ginzan Kaido 銀の道 2

I walked through a village, Nishida. People used to stay this village before climbing up the mountain pass for Iwami Ginzan.

西田の集落は、石見銀山を往来する人たちの宿場町でした。
日差しが気持ち良い。むきたての柿が干されていました。


I looked back the mountain I had walked.
振り返ると、山々が見えます。


I noticed something big, and went closer. It was called Yozukuhade. It looked like an owl (Yozuku). Hade is for dry rices.
At the time, I noticed an old temple over there, and I visited the temple.

大きなわらのような物が見え、近づいてみました。これはヨズクハデと呼ばれるもの。普通に稲を干すより、狭い面積で効率的にでき、海からの風にも倒れにくい。ヨズクはフクロウのことで、フクロウが羽を休めてうずくまって見えるので、こう呼ばれるとか。
この時、山のふもとに趣のあるお寺があるのに気づき、訪れてみた。


It was Zuisenji.
立派な門。瑞泉寺。


I entered the gate, there were the main temple and the garden. Leaves had turned red and yellow. There was a huge stone lantern.
本堂の回りには、素晴らしい紅葉。

The sunshine made the color of leaves brighter.
日差しに紅葉が映えて、とてもきれいでした。
偶然の出会いに感謝。


I started walking on the hiking path.
また銀の道を進みます。西田の集落の入り口に「ヨズクの里」とありました。


I walked along fields. The clouds came and started rainning slightly. Then it changed heavy rain suddenly. Fortunately there was a garage in front of me, I jumped in it to avoid the sudden shower.
田園風景。山々の形がおもしろい。
急に雲がやってきて、雨がぽつぽつ降ってきました。しばらくすると、どしゃ降り。運良く目の前に車庫があったので、雨やどりさせていただきました。
