Lake Myvatn ミーヴァトン湖

 On the following day of my Grimsey trip, I joined a day tour to travel around Akureyri. The first stop was Goðafoss which I had visited two days before. 

グリムセイ島への旅の次の日。アークレイリから見どころを周回するデイツアーに参加しました。観光バスかと思っていたら、参加者は、私とアメリカ人女性の２人。ドライバー兼ガイドとの３人でバンでのツアーでした。

まずは、２日前にも訪れたゴーザフォス（神の滝）。

 The next stop was Lake Myvatn.

次の停車地は、ミーヴァトン湖。約10分の散策。

 There were pseudo craters.

火口に見えますが、火山の噴火ではなく、水蒸気爆発によってできたプセウドというもの。

 I wanted to stroll more, but we had to move to the next destination.

もっとお散歩したいけど、これからまだまだ見どころが続くので戻ります。

 I noticed a hotel. That was the hotel I had stayed in 2005 to see northern lights, but they didn’t show up due to bad weather.

向こうに見えるホテルは、たしか2005年の初アイスランドで宿泊した。オーロラ観光のために来たのだけど、天気が悪くて見れなかった。懐かしい！

 I could see Lake Myvatn from a car park of the next destination, Dimmuborgir.

次の停車地、ディムボルギルの駐車場から、ミーヴァトン湖が見渡せました。
