Ephesus エフェソス 1

We visited Ephesus.
「エフェソスは素晴らしい所ですので、カメラの充電をしっかりしていてください。」と前夜、添乗員さんが言われていました。
牛のお出迎え。




There were carvings of lion's feet by the stairs.
劇場の階段の横には、獅子の足。






There were many sculptures in this remains.
彫刻もたくさん残っていました。

勝利の女神。



Our guide said that this place was always crowded. We were lucky to visit here in a quiet day.
普段はもっと、観光客が多いそうです。


Residential area. I was so impressed by the mosaic alley.
高級住宅跡。路地には、素晴らしいモザイク模様！
ここで一番感動した場所です。




I found a mosaic duck.
アヒルもいました。


I was looking at the beautiful patterns of mosaic for a while, then I caught up with my group.
しばらくモザイク模様に見とれていましたが、みんなに追いつかなきゃ。

これは、何でしょう。


This is a public toilet. People were in line for taking a picture.
水洗トイレだそうです。写真を撮ろうと、混んでいました。

Bergama ベルガマ遺跡

We visited Bergama after Troy. There was the acropolis on a hill.
ペルガモン王国のアクロポリスは、小高い丘の上にありました。


We walked from a car park.
バスを降りて、少し登るとすぐ。


There might have been a gate.
城門があったのでしょう。


Athena temple.
アテネ神殿跡。




People were looking at something.
人々が集まって、何かを見ています。


If you put coin on the stone, your dream come true.
真ん中の石の上にお金を乗せることができると、願いが叶うとか。なかなか難しい。

メドゥーサの彫刻がありました。




The theatre was on the steep slope.
野外劇場。とても急勾配です。収容人数は一万人とか。

There were many carved marble by the corridor.
そばには、彫刻の見られる石が保存されていました。



When we were heading to our bus, the sky were getting red.
日の暮れるのが早い。バスに戻るころには、空が赤くなり始めていました。

Troy トロイ

Our first destination was Troy.
最初の訪問地はトロイ。入り口付近に木馬がありました。


The remains of different times were layered.
トロイは、異なる時代の遺跡が重なっています。

アテネ神殿があった場所。



These stones reminded me of my France trip.
石に刻まれた模様を見ていると、フランスのアルルを思い出しました。


This ruins was by the sea in the ancient days.
トロイ戦争の頃は、すぐそばまで海の入り江だったとか。



We could see remains of different times in this place.
異なる時代の遺跡が見られます。
