Himeji-jo 姫路城 サクラ 2

Many tourists headed to the castle tower.
天守閣へは、多くの人たちが登っていました。途中で待つ時間もありましたが、この時期だけの特別公開の部分もあり、登って良かった。

There were lots of big and marvelous cherry trees.
姫路城にはたくさんのサクラの木があります。大きく立派な木も多い。






Children enjoyed on a pleasant spring day.
I had a great time at Himeji-jo.

姫路城の公園では花見のほか、子どもたちも楽しんでいました。
姫路城を訪れて、良かった～。

Himeji-jo 姫路城 サクラ 1

April 7. I visited Himeji-jo, a world heritage, to see cherry blossoms at their best.
４月７日。あまりにも良い天気だったので、姫路城へ行ってみました。
平日にも関わらず、姫路行きのJRは多くの人。



There were lots of people from overseas, from all over the country.
Many people had parties under cherry blossoms.

桜の下では、お花見の人々。
外国人観光客も、とても多い。さすが世界遺産ですね。





I took pictures from the place people with cameras and tripods gathered. They were nice angles.
三脚を立てたカメラマンの集まる場所からは、特に姫路城がきれいに見えます。


Weeping cherry trees were going to be in full blossom soon.
枝垂れ桜は七分咲きくらい。





I headed to the castle tower.
天守閣へも行ってみました。

Hirosaki 弘前 4

I visited Hirosaki-Jo in Hirosaki Park.
弘前公園内にある弘前城。ここは、桜の名所。



Here is famous for cherry blossoms from the end of April to the beginning of May. I've seem them before, they were so gorgeous! Imagine cherry trees in full bloom.

枝垂れ桜が多くて、とても素晴らしい。何年も前に訪れましたが、ここの桜と秋田県の角館の桜には、大感激しました。
見頃は４月下旬から５月上旬なので、まだ桜は咲いていません。
想像してください。満開の桜を。


There were many cherry trees in this park.
みんな枝垂れ桜の木です。


There were cherry trees along the moat.
お堀沿いにも、桜が並びます。


I found a tree budding.
気の早い桜を見つけました。早咲きなのでしょう。


I visited Hirosaki at winter festival some years ago. It was nice, too.
２月には「弘前城雪燈籠まつり」が開催されます。冬も楽しめます。


I could see Mt. Iwaki from the hotel I stayed one night. I've climbed the mountain in summer some years ago to see unique flowers named Michinoku-kozakura.

岩木山へは、この山の1カ所でしかみられないという「みちのくこざくら」が見たくて、登ったことがあります。

Hirosaki 弘前 3

This building is the former library, located next to the present library. I was impressed with the beauty of the building.

ミニチュアの洋館たちのそばに、現弘前市立図書館と旧弘前市立図書館がありました。この旧弘前市立図書館が素晴らしい。


The first floor and the second floor is opened to the public.
１階、２階は一般公開されています。

I visited another Western-style building.
もうひとつ、洋館。藤田記念庭園にある洋館。とんがり屋根がかわいい。
空の雲は、まるで絵に描いたよう。しかしこのあと、また吹雪いてきました。。



There was a float for summer festival in the tourist information center. I'd like to come back Hirosaki on the beginning of August, summer festival season.
弘前市立観光館の中にあった。ねぷた祭り、見てみたい。

After lunch, I kept on walking. I noticed a big dog statue. I went toward it, there was a brick warehouse.
昼食後、てくてくお散歩。大きな白い犬のオブジェに気付き、近づくとレンガ倉庫がありました。何の建物だったのでしょうか。



I kept on walking. I found a splendid brick church. Hirosaki shoten church.
レンガ倉庫からほどなく、教会がありました。弘前昇天教会。

There are beautiful Western-style buildings in Hirosaki. There is a park of miniature buildings.
弘前では、洋館めぐりが楽しい。
ミニチュアの洋館が集まった場所がありました。
