Shikinaen 識名園 1

I flew to Naha in Okinawa in the end of March. I visited Shikinaen. It was originally constructed in the 17th century as the second residence of the Ryukyu Kings. It was destroyed at the Second World War, then reconstructed since 1975.

３月の終わり、那覇への１泊２日の旅。
前回、那覇を訪れた時に識名園のことを知り、行ってみたいと思っていた。
識名園は琉球王朝の最大の別邸でした。第二次世界大戦で破壊された後、1975年から整備が進められました。


"Shikinaen" in Japanese was written by a famous painter, Hirayama Ikuo.
識名園の字は、平山郁夫氏のもの。


There were many tropical trees.
入場するとすぐ、来て良かった〜と思いました。荘厳な雰囲気。


A wedding ceremony was held on this day.
結婚式もできるそうで、この日は１組行われていました。



The pathway was winding.
カーブの多い道は、敷地を広く感じさせるためだとか。

Bao-an Temple 大龍峒保安宮

I visited Bao-an Temple. The temple deity is the emperor Boa-shen, famous as a doctor and great healer. Many local people came to pray for good health.

孔子廟のすぐそばに、大龍峒保安宮という、医学の神様を祀った廟がありました。歴史が感じられる素晴らしい建物。特別の日だったのか、地元の人たちがたくさんお参りに来ていました。

ここにも盆栽。


People offered flowers and food.
お供え物がたくさん。





They bought several sticks of incenses, placed one by one.
７本くらいの長い線香を持ち、お参りしながら１本ずつ立てていました。




There was a park in front of the temple.
近くの公園。


Before I left Taiwan, I enjoyed Taiwanese food.
最後にお気に入りの台湾料理を楽しんで、松山空港から日本に戻りました。
次回は、台湾の温泉に行ってみよう〜。

Taipei Confucius Temple 孔子廟

I visited Taipei Confucius Temple.
花博会場の近くに、孔子廟がありました。


Qilin, mythical creature, was painted.
麒麟が描かれています。











I heard a music.
音楽が聞こえてきたので、本殿の方へ行くと、、、


Fortunately, I could watch the traditional music and dance.
毎朝、儀礼の舞が見られるようです。


After the dance, people experienced the dance.
舞の後、一般の人も体験できるようです。



People wrote their wish on these papers.
たくさんの紙には、願い事が書かれています。

Taipei Flora Exposition 花博 6

Parade.
毎日、パレードがあると知り、行ってみました。



Two big floats shaped like caterpillars came out just before the parade.
パレード前、建物から巨大ないも虫が出てきました。







The parade started.
パレードがスタート。







I really enjoyed the Flora Exposition.
花博。め〜いっぱい、楽しみました。
