次の停車地は「寒山寺」

 I noticed the characters of Journey to the West.

西遊記を見つけた。

 I went upstairs.

五重塔の二階に登れます。

 I often saw people selling fruits and vegetables on the street.

街では道でも橋の上でも、人々がいろんな物を売っていました。

美味しそうな果物。スイカもよく見かけました。

We had Suzhou food for lunch.

ツアーは昼食付き。蘇州料理は美味しかった。

Suzhou 蘇州 1

 On June 22, I joined a one-day tour for Suzhou. The first destination was Humble Administrator's Garden. It was built in the 16th century.  

蘇州。１泊してのんびりお散歩しようかとも思いましたが、見どころを歩いてまわるにはちょっと広そう。上海からの１日ツアーに参加しました。

最初の場所は、世界遺産の「拙政園」。16世紀に造られたものだとか。

 It was modeled after a ship. 

昔は船旅は、なかなかできないもの。ここにいながら船旅気分をと、船のかたちをした建物が造られたそうです。

 There were lots of tourists on the national holiday.

池が広くて、美しい庭園です。この日（6/22）は祭日だったらしく、観光客がたくさん。

 I really enjoyed this beautiful garden. And I was impressed by amazing stone pavement. 

美しい風景にとても感動しましたが、ここで気になったのが足元！

石で造られた歩道の美しさです。

Shanghai 上海の旅

 I flew to Shanghai on June 21.

初めての上海の旅。関空から約２時間と、結構近いんです。

 I took a Maglev from the airport.

上海浦東空港からリニアモーターカー（磁浮）に乗りました。

 The speed was shown.

車内には、現在のスピードが表示されていました。

 The top speed was 431km/h! 

最高速度は431km/hでした。速い！　

状況や時間帯によってこのスピードにならないようで、帰りの最高速度は301km/hでした。

I changed to Metro, then walked to a hotel. Trees were lining a street. I felt like I was in a town of France. 

約８分間のリニアモーターカーのあと、地下鉄に乗り換え、地上に出る。

フランスかどこかの街のような、この並木道に感動。

でも、青信号で道を渡る時にも、信号無視でやって来るバイクに注意してなきゃいけないとだんだんわかってきます。

Independence Day 独立記念日

 June 17 is the Independence Day of Iceland. I was staying in Iceland on the day in 2011. In the morning I strolled in the town. 

I had booked a day tour of Greenland on the day. I headed to the airport.

アイスランドの旅から、はや１年経ちました。
6月17日は独立記念日でした。私はこの日、グリーンランドへの１日ツアー参加していました。

朝、空港に向かう前に、レイキャビクの街をお散歩。あちこちでアイスランドの旗がみられました。

I came back to Iceland in the evening. People seemed enjoying the Independence Day festival.

夕方グリーンランドから戻り、街をお散歩。日中、パレードもあったようです。

I noticed a unique building.

レイキャビクで気になったビル。キラキラきれい。

The sky was beautiful in the early morning.

アイスランド最終日。朝３時頃の朝焼け。
