Asahikawa 春の花 4

They were the flowers I saw at Hoppo Yasoen on April 27.
4月27日、北邦野草園のお散歩で出会った花たちです。

Hoppo Yasoen in Asahikawa on April 27.
I often saw colonies of ezoengosaku while I was walking.

旭川市北方野草園、4月27日のお散歩の続きです。
エゾエンゴサクがあちらにもこちらにも、咲いていました。






They were blooming at the places for other plants.
サクラソウのコーナーも、タンポポのコーナーも、エゾエンゴサクだらけ。


I sometimes saw white small flowers.
ちらほら、白い花も咲いていました。


Shojobakama.
ショウジョウバカマたち。


There were ferns.
ここでは、シダたちがにょっきにょき。


It seemed like they were competing for their heights.
にょっきにょきと、背比べ。おもしろい。


Here was a section for lilies, obayuri. The lilies had seedpods at the time I visited there last August.
ここは、オオウバユリのコーナー。前回訪れた時は、花が終わり実が膨らんでいた。８月のオオウバユリ


I looked down from its above. I'd like to see their flowers someday.
春のオオウバユリは、こんな姿。今度は、咲いている時に訪れたいなぁ。

Puffins in 2006 パフィンたち

I heard "the next program is puffins in Iceland...." from my TV yesterday. It reminded me clearly of Iceland trip in 2006.

昨日、TVから「次回はアイスランドのパフィン・・・」と聞こえてきた。アイスランドのウエストマン島。２年前に訪れた場所。2006年7月にも紹介しましたが、再び登場させてください。
今、私の「顔」となっているパフィン。
どこにいたかというと。。。


It was sitting on the edge of the cliff.
崖っぷちです。


There were many puffins on the cliff.
すっごい崖っぷちに、パフィンがたくさんいました。


It was the end of June, many flowers were blooming.
６月下旬で、花も咲いていました。


I took a walk along the cliff. I visited there everyday while I stayed in the island for three days. But I met only two people there.
この崖沿いに、たくさんパフィンが集まっていました。この島に滞在した３日間、毎日訪れましたが、出会った人は２人。ほとんど独り占めでした。







I could see many seabirds on a boat tour.
島一周のボートツアーでは、ウミガラスがたくさん見れました。



I'm sure I'll be back there.
いつかまた、戻りたい場所です。

Asahikawa 春の花 2

I started walking on the pathway in Hoppo Yasoen. There were lots of ezoengosaku blooming. They were so pretty, I was so excited.
北方野草園のお散歩を始めましょう。エゾエンゴサクの群落があちらにもこちらにも!! 一人で大興奮でした。かわいい。かわいい。


Most of these flowers were blue.
ブルーの花は、エゾエンゴサクたち。紫っぽい花や、薄い水色の花など、微妙にそれぞれ色が違います。


I sometimes found pink ones.
ピンクのエゾエンゴサク。


I found white ones only three times for four hours.
珍しい白いエゾエンゴサク。約4時間お散歩しましたが、３株しか出会いませんでした。


They were pretty, too.
黄色い花。かわいい。


They might be kibananoamana.
キバナノアマナかしら。


Shiraneaoi. I had seen them before in July on the mountain, Akitakomagatake in Akita prefecture. The flowers were light pink. They looked like they were sleeping.
シラネアオイたち。秋田県の秋田駒ヶ岳では、７月頃に咲いていました。ほんわかやさしい感じの、薄いピンク色の可憐な花です。
みんな、まだ眠っていますね。


They were blooming soon.
ここでは、開花しはじめていますね。


The day I visited there was Sunday. But it was cloudy and sometimes drizzling, so I met only about twenty people in Hoppo Yasoen.
この日は日曜日でしたが、前日までのお天気続きから変わって、曇り空。霧雨も時々あるような天気だったせいか、4時間のお散歩で出会った人たちは20人くらいしかいませんでした。お散歩を続けます。

Asahikawa 春の花 1

I was impressed of a photo of countless flowers on a blog last year. They were pink flowers, katakuri, and blue flowers, ezoengosaku. I wanted to look at them, so I visited Asahikawa.
I had seen flowers of katakuri in Akita, but I had not seen ezoengosaku before.
Last August I visited Hoppo Yasoen in Asahikawa. At the time, I thought I wanted to come back on the different season, and I bought a guidebook for flowers. On April 27th, I brought the guidebook with me and headed to Hoppo Yasoen.

昨年、カタクリのピンクとエゾエンゴサクのブルーのお花畑の写真に感動して、ぜひ見てみたいと思っていた。４月下旬、一泊だけど訪れることができることになり、3月下旬から気分わくわく。今年は早い雪解けで、満開のカタクリに出会えるかもと期待。だけど、初夏のような暑さで一気に咲いてしまい、ピークを過ぎてしまった。あらら。
カタクリの花は、秋田県で見た けれど、エゾエンゴサクは見たことない。見てみたい !!
昨年8月、旭川の北邦野草園 を訪れた時、春にも来てみたいと思っていた。そこで、その時に購入した本を持って北邦野草園へ。

Fukinoto.
フキノトウたちは、もう大きく伸びていました。



This is a traditional bamboo grass house which located by the entrance of Hoppo Yasoen. There were lots of yellow flowers.
北邦野草園の入り口のそばにある、伝承のコタン。アイヌの伝統家屋（笹小屋）。黄色い花がたくさん咲いていました。


Ezonoryukinka. They are also called Yachibuki.
エゾノリュウキンカ。ヤチブキとも呼ばれるそうです。「嵐山の植物」という本の表紙の写真は、この花だったのですね。


They were pretty.
かわいい花です。
