Lake Barrine バリン湖

On November 1, I went to Atherton Tablelands on a day tour.

ケアンズ３日目。昨年もお世話になった、True Blue Toursのシェーンさんガイドで、アサートン高原めぐり＆グルメツアーに参加しました。新婚旅行のカップルと私、シェーンさんの４人旅。ケアンズを出発してアサートン高原へ。途中、停車し景色を楽しむ。

The first destination was Lake Barrine.

最初の目的地は、カルデラ湖のバリン湖。

 We went to a teahouse.

カフェにあった絵。カモノハシも描かれている。

 I had a table on the balcony.

飲み物を注文して、テーブルで待っていると、

 I had lovely scone!

このスコーンは、とっても美味しい！

 with the wonderful scenery.

しかも、この景色を楽しみながらです。

 There were birds floating.

バリン湖の対岸付近には、コシグロペリカンとたぶんカンムリカイツブリたち。

 A bird came.

小鳥がやって来た。

あっ、ヤブツカツクリ。

 There was a pathway around the lake. We took a short walk. 

バリン湖の周囲には、遊歩道があります。

 They are huge Kauri Pines.

樹齢約1000年の、カウリパイン。

We headed to the next destination. Jacaranda were in full bloom.

車に戻り、次の目的地へ。アサートン高原では、ちょうどジャカランダが満開でした。
