I visited Shikoku by train. I took Shinkansen to Okayama, then I took an express train to Kochi.
近くて遠いというイメージのあった四国。でも新神戸から新幹線に乗り岡山で特急に乗り継ぐと、高知まで約３時間20分でした。岡山駅で待っていたのは、アンパンマン列車。
Anpanman is very popular among children.
車内も楽しい。夏休み最後の日曜日で、子どもたちがたくさん。

The train ran along a river flowing through the valley. I enjoyed the scenery seen from a train window.
大歩危の渓流沿いを列車は走る。車窓が楽しい。
The first destination was Kochi. I saw Anpanman train again.
高知に着いて、待っていた路面電車は、アンパンマン車両。
