Shiogama 塩竈

I visited Miyagi and Yamagata last week. At first, I went to Shiogama which is next to Matsushima, one of Japan's three great views. I've been to Matsushima a few times, so I had planed to visit Shiogama in this time.
After sushi lunch, I headed to Shiogama Shrine.

中孝介のコンサートと、厚切り牛たん炭火焼が目的で、仙台へ。
コンサートまでの時間、塩竈をてくてくお散歩。仙台から電車で約30分。
地元産メインのお寿司の昼食後、鹽竈（しおがま）神社へ。202段の石段は圧巻。






It was a beautiful day. I saw some families taking newborn babies, a couple had a wedding ceremony at the shrine.
この日は、お宮参りや結婚式が行われていました。
良い天気で良かったね。みんな嬉しそうでした。




Shiogama Shrine has a history of over 1200 years.
桜の木など、存在感のある木々がたくさんありました。
1200年といわれる歴史が感じられました。






Nanamagari-zaka, seven turns slope, is the oldest approach pathway to the shrine.
七曲坂。最も古い参道らしく、その形成は奈良時代からと推測されているとか。



There were traditional buildings along a street.
本塩釜駅への道に、レトロな建物がありました。
