Takachiho-mine 高千穂峰 3

 Finally I arrived at the top of Takachiho-mine.

ついに、到着です。高千穂峰。

 I met a German couple interested in Japanese history. 

日本の歴史に興味があるという、ドイツ人夫婦に出会いました。

 Inverted Sword of the God. 

坂本龍馬が引き抜いたと言われる、天の逆鉾。

坂本龍馬は、天狗の顔に見えたと姉への手紙にスケッチと一緒に書いていた。

 That sword looked like a face of Tangu. 

確かに天狗の顔に見える！

 The other side of scenery.

宮崎県の方も見渡せます。

 I started walking down.

天気が悪くなる前に、戻りましょう。

 I walked on the rim of the crater. I was scared when the wind was strong.

御鉢のふちの道は細いところがあり、風が強いとちょっと怖い。

足元も悪いし、ウオーキングポールを持って行って良かった。

 Kirishima is an active volcano. 

この辺りは、活火山。活動が穏やかで、良かった～。

 I climbed down.

足元に注意をしながら、下ります。

 It was a pleasant path. I heard birds’ songs.

バス停までは、霧島神宮の森散策路を歩きます。小鳥たちがさえずっていました。

 I went to the Visitors’ Center. 

バスの時間まで、ビジターセンターへ。

It was a wonderful walking!

坂本龍馬とお龍さんは約150年前に着物で、同じ道を登ったなんて！

地元の人たちとの出会いもあり、楽しいお散歩でした。

Takachiho-mine 高千穂峰 2

 I headed to the top of Takachiho-mine.

高千穂峰の山頂を目指します。

 That layer was interesting.

地層が見えて、おもしろい！

 I looked back the crater, Ohachi.

御鉢を振り返り、

 That steep slope led me to the top. 

さぁ、山頂を目指して、急な坂道を登ります。

 160m to the top!

あと、160m。

 I took a rest. 

ずいぶん登りました。

 There were flowers.

アザミが咲いていました。

 The fog hid the wonderful scenery.

風景が隠れました。

 I almost reached the top.

あと少し。

Takachiho-mine 高千穂峰 1

 I visited Kirishima in Kagoshima Prefecture to climb Takachiho-mine. I stayed at Kirishima Onsen. On October 21, I went to Takachiho-kawara by bus.

坂本龍馬とお龍さんが、約150年前に日本初の新婚旅行で登ったという高千穂峰。

バス停から約２時間で登れると知り、10月21日てくてくお散歩。

霧島温泉で一泊したあと、霧島連山周遊バスに乗り、高千穂河原で下車。

 I started walking.

参道を少し歩くと、

 Site of old Kirishima Shrine

霧島神宮古宮址。パワースポットだそうです。

 I prayed for safety of climbing.

登山の安全を願います。

 It was a pleasant walking in woods.

しばらく木々の中を、てくてくお散歩。ずっと登り坂。

 I headed to the rim of the crater, Ohachi.

御鉢（噴火口）が見えてきました。

 It was a steep slope.

急な登りが続きます。

 I often had a rest, enjoyed the scenery.

休憩しながら、景色を眺めながら、登って行きます。

 I could see mountains of Kirishima, such as Shinmoe-dake which erupted in 2011.

2011年に噴火してまだ入山規制中の新燃岳や、霧島最高峰の韓国岳が見えます。

 I arrived at Ohachi. It was a splendid scenery!

御鉢。景色に圧倒されます。

 I headed to the top of Takachiho-mine.

高千穂峰に向かって、御鉢のふちを歩きます。

 I took a picture of the summit with a zoom lens.

高千穂峰の頂上をズームで見てみると、
