Milford Track Guided Walk 13

 I left my backpack at Quintin Lodge, headed to Sutherland Falls.

クィンティンロッジで荷物を置き、サザーランド滝へ。

 These fern were

 soft.

柔らかくてふわふわしていました。

 Sutherland Falls

サザーランド滝が見えてきた。

 Highest Waterfall in New Zealand. 

ニュージーランドで一番高い滝。

 I walked toward Sutherland Falls. I got the spray from the waterfall.

近づいていくと、水しぶきがかかります。雷鳴のような音がしました。

 When I went to see the basin of the waterfall, I was soaked. That reminded me of Skogafoss in Iceland.

滝壺の周辺では、すっかりずぶ濡れ。レインウエアを着ていて良かった。

アイスランドのスコゥガフォスを思い出した。

 Song thrush

クィンティンロッジへの帰り道。ウタツグミに出会った。

 Quintin Lodge was in the middle of mountains.

クィンティンロッジは、他のロッジと同様に、大自然の中にあります。

 We had wonderful dinner with beautiful scenery.

素晴らしい風景を見ながら、夕食。
