Kankakei 寒霞渓 2

I headed to Hoshigajo ruin. I walked under that torii.

ロープウエイ山頂駅から星ヶ城跡へ向かって、てくてくお散歩。鳥居を進みます。

There were few people and lots of birds singing. 

この遊歩道は歩く人が少なく、鳥たちが多い。木陰が続くお散歩道。

Sometimes you can enjoy beautiful sceneries.

素晴らしい風景も楽しみます。

There are shrines and various remains.

星ヶ城跡には神社や色々な遺跡がありました。

I came back to the ropeway station, then I walked down on Urakankakei pathway.

ロープウエイ山上駅に戻り、裏神懸の遊歩道を下りました。

Matsutakeiwa, a rock looks like a mushroom.

I was astonished by Sekimon. It’s a natural stone gate.

自然の造形、石門。素晴らしい！

I felt scared when I walked under Sekimon.

石門の下を歩きます。少し怖い。

Taishido

石門のそばに大師洞。

I looked back Sekimon again and again.

石門を何度も振り返りながら、下ります。

I walked on a road from here to Kountei bus stop.

ここからは道路を歩いて、紅雲亭バス停に戻りました。

When I was waiting for a bus, I noticed that there was a heart-shaped hole.

紅雲亭バス停でバスを待っている時に気付いた。通天窓がハート型に見えました。

Kankakei 寒霞渓 1

I’ve heard that Kankakei is famous for its autumn color. I knew there were trails in Kankakei, so I planed to go walking around. I took a bus from Ikeda Port to Kountei.

紅葉が美しいと聞いて、いつか行ってみたいと思っていた小豆島の寒霞渓。遊歩道があることを知り、2023年4月行ってみた。池田港から紅雲亭行きのバスで終点。

It was sunny day. I walked up along the blue trail, then I visited Hoshigajo ruin (along the green trail), then I walked down along the red trail, then came back to Kountei bus stop.

晴天のこの日は、表神懸（青ルート）を登り、星ヶ城跡（緑ルート）を往復し、裏神懸（赤ルート）を下って紅雲亭へ戻った。

I could see unique  rocks.    時々いろんな岩が見えてきます。

I was walking and enjoyed beautiful flowers and fresh green leaves. I noticed there were many maple trees, so I could imagine that the autumn color must be amazing.

春はツツジなどの花を楽しみながら歩きます。もみじが多いので、紅葉の季節は絶景が続くことが容易に想像できます。

I began to see wonderful sceneries.

稜線に近づくと素晴らしい景色が見えます。

There are several observatories. 

展望台がいくつかあり、それぞれからの風景が素晴らしい！

That observatory is one of art works of Art Setouchi in 2022.

2022年瀬戸内国際芸術祭の作品からの風景も素敵。

I could see many unique shapes of rocks.

岩の不思議。

There is a shop near the ropeway station.

ロープウエイ山頂駅周辺には売店などがありました。

Alishan 阿里山 5

I stayed at this hotel, Alisha House, in Alishan Forest Recreation Area.

今回の阿里山の旅で２泊した阿里山賓館。阿里山国家森林遊楽区の中心にありお散歩にとても便利な場所にあります。

The building I stayed was historical one.       宿泊したのは歴史館（本館）

It’s more than one hundred years old. There were many old pictures on the wall.

100年以上の歴史があり、写真が廊下に展示されていました。

There were names of governors general who had stayed this room about 100 years ago.

私の部屋には、1919年と1920年に台湾総督が宿泊していたようです。

素敵な部屋の内部。最近宿泊した奈良ホテルの本館（同じく100年以上の歴史）も同じ雰囲気がありました。

It was renovated, so I was very comfortable.

改装されていて、とても快適に過ごせました。

New building has many rooms.     新館には部屋がたくさん。

The guests gathered on the roof terrace at the time of the sunset and the sunrise.

このホテルを選んだ一つの理由が屋上からの眺め。

I really enjoyed Alishan trip. On the following morning, I went back to Taipei by bus. It took about six and a half hours.

天気にも恵まれ、素晴らしい2泊3日阿里山滞在でした。

翌日、阿里山から台北へ長距離バスがあることに気づき、快適そうだったので670元を支払って乗車しました。嘉義駅経由で6時間半かかりましたが楽しい体験でした。
