Oirase 奥入瀬渓流 1

On the fallowing morning, I went to Ishigedo by bus.
２日目の朝。十和田湖からバスで奥入瀬渓流の石ヶ戸へ。

冬はこんな感じでした。






I took a walk from Ishigedo to Choshi-otaki on the pathway along the stream.
石ヶ戸から上流の銚子大滝まで、渓流沿いの遊歩道をてくてくお散歩。


In winter.

A part of leaves just started to turn into yellow or red.
紅葉は始まりかけたばかりで、まだ緑がきれい。

Towada lake 十和田湖へ

On October 4th, the first day of my Aomori trip was raining continually. I took a bus at Aomori station, headed to Towada lake. I got off at Tsuta onsen on my way to Towada lake, took a hot spring.

青森の旅、初日の10月4日は、雨が降り続いていました。お散歩は断念して青森駅からバスに乗り、蔦温泉で途中下車して、十和田湖の宿へ向かうことにしました。
蔦温泉は、浴槽の下から湯が湧きだしています。熱めの湯ですが、気持ち良い！



The last time I visited this area was January in 2009.
前回、十和田湖や八甲田山を訪れたのは、2009年1月です。





I stayed at a lakeside hotel one night.
十和田湖畔のホテルに１泊。中国人の団体さんも泊まっていました。


The leaves just started to turn into yellow.
紅葉は始まりかけたばかり。


The snowy landscape in January.
冬の景色も素敵でした。

Aomori 青森の旅

I flew to Aomori on October 4th to see autumn color of Mt. Hakkoda. I spent three days in Aomori. I stayed at my favorite onsen one night. I enjoyed hiking, onsen and talking to people.

オーストラリアの旅をしばしお休みして、青森の旅を。10月4日から6日の３日間、青森を旅しました。メインの目的は、八甲田山の紅葉。大好きな谷地温泉に一泊し、奥入瀬渓流沿いや八甲田山をてくてくお散歩。地元青森の人たちや、他県の人たちに会いました。酸ヶ湯温泉からロープウエイ乗り場までのJRバスでは、武田修宏さんやジローラモさんをお見かけしました。「いい旅夢気分」の取材だったらしく、TV放映の一足先に、八甲田山の紅葉の一部をお届けします。

Bungle Bungle バングルバングル 1

We stayed at Bungle Bungle Wilderness Lodge for two nights. On the second day of 4-days-tour , we visited some places in Bungle Bungle Range area.
朝食が終わり、出発！　同じ場所に２泊だったので、この日は一日中バングルバングル。
バングルバングルとは、アボリジニの言葉で「砂の岩」という意味だそうです。独特の縞模様の岩山！　ビーハイブ（蜂の巣）と呼ばれるらしい。
これから、もっともっと感動が待っているとは、全く予想してなかった。この景色で、すでにハイテンション。


The bus stopped at a lookout point. We got out the bus, took photos.
４WDバスが止まり、外へ出て景色を堪能。縞模様、見えますか？




The bus started to run.
再び、バスは走ります。車窓の景色で、またハイテンション。


We arrived at the first stop.
駐車場に停車。



We took a walk for Cathedral Gorge.
ここから、１カ所目のハイキング。Cathedral Gorgeへ向かいます。

Morning 朝風景

We stayed at Bungle Bungle Wilderness Lodge in Purnululu National Park for two nights. I looked up at the countless stars in the night. I saw a shooting star twice.
Singing of birds woke me up around 5 a.m. I decided to get out the tent and take a walk until breakfast.
パヌルル国立公園で２泊。夜は満天の星。流れ星を見たのは、何年、何十年ぶり？！
朝、５時頃から鳥たちが鳴き出しました。種類も多いし、数も多い。朝食まで時間があったので、テントから出て、朝散歩。


This bird was singing loudly.
大きな声は、このインコかなぁ。


The sun is rising.
朝日が昇ってきました。


The rising sun made hills and field beautifully red.
辺りは、赤く色づき始めます。赤い山が美しく輝きます。




They are 4WD vehicles.
4WDの車。今日もダートを走りましょう。


There were 4 comfortable showers and toilets in the centre of the campsite.
快適なシャワーとトイレが４つあり、そのまわりにテントがあります。


I stayed 2 nights in this tent.
２泊したテント。この中にベッドが２つ。


It was a kitchen and dining room.
食堂です。夕食は右側のオープンスペースで、ツアーのみんなで楽しみました。



I noticed that birds came to this water place.
食堂のそばに水場があって、鳥たちが次々とやって来るのに気付いた。しばらく眺めていました。

To Bungle バングルバングルへ

I joined 4 days tour. 4WD coach picked me up at 6:15 a.m. On the tour I met 12 people from Australia, NZ and Italy. On the first day, we moved to Bungle Bungle about 900 km away from Broome. It took about 12 hours, we had breakfast and lunch on the coach.
There were countless anthills! The scenery reminded me of Pinnacles.

次の日から、４日間バスの旅が始まりました。4WDのバスは 6:15にYH前に迎えにきてくれました。今回のツアーは、オーストラリア国内から６人とニュージーランドから２人、イタリア人夫婦と５歳の娘、私、ドライバー兼ガイドの13人の旅。
初日は、バングルバングルまでの約900kmを、バスは一気に走ります。朝食も昼食もバスの中。車窓を楽しみました。
たくさんのアリ塚です！　シロアリが数えきれないほど暮らしているのでしょう。こんなにたくさんあるなんて、まるで「ピナクルズ」のようです。

バオバブの木！！


We had a rest every a few hours.
最初の休憩場所。2-3時間毎に、ティータイムがありました。テーブルがない場所では、バスから折りたたみのテーブルが出てきて、コーヒーや紅茶、ケーキやクッキーが並びます。


The sigh said Perth 2240 km, Broome 166 km, Halls Creek 525 km and so on.
標識には、パースまで2240km、ブルームまで166km、この先のホールス・クリークまで525km、などと書いてあります。バングルバングルは、ホールス・クリークより遠いので、まだまだ、、、です。　


I was impressed with the unique shapes of baobab trees.
バオバブは、一本一本に個性があるように思えます。ここの風景は、何百年前も変わってないのでしょうか？　バオバブたちに聞いてみたい。。。




It must be a big river on the rainy season.
雨期には、大きな川なのでしょう。


It was a strange hill with round rocks.
丸い岩の丘。フシギな風景。



We reached the entrance of Purnululu National Park.
パヌルル国立公園の入り口です。ここからバングルバングルまで、ダートの道が約60km。約２時間。





The track to Bungle Bungle Range is in bad condition, so only 4WD vehicles are allowed to pass only in the dry season.
上下、左右、前後に揺られます。道は登ったり、下ったりの繰り返し。雨期には水没する場所があるらしく、通行止めになります。乾期でも、4WDの車でないと無理らしい。



The red hill with sunset light was so beautiful.
夕陽が赤い山を照らすと、それはとても美しいものでした。写真にうまく撮れなかったのが、残念です。


Finally we arrived at Bungle Bungle Wilderness Lodge around 6 p.m. There were two cozy beds in a tent.
真っ暗の中、２泊する宿に到着。テントにベッドが２つと明かり。快適でした。
