Nemuro 2014 根室へ

 I flew to Nemuro in Hokkaido to watch one of puffins, Tufted Puffin.

パフィンは世界に３種類います。アイスランドに無数にいた西ツノメドリ。そして根室にも住んでいるエトピリカとツノメドリ。

今年も７月下旬、エトピリカなどの鳥たちに会うために根室に飛びました。

 That must be Lake Mashu. I went to Nemuro from Nemuro-Nakashibetsu Airport by bus. I stayed at ken’s Inn for two nights.

たぶん。きっと、摩周湖。根室中標津空港からバスで根室へ。

 On the following morning, the owner of Ken’s Inn took me to Ochiishi for Nature Cruise. Before we arrived at Ochiishi, we went to Hanasaki Port for birdwatching. 

次の日、落石ネイチャークルーズへ。落石に向かう前に、少しバードウオッチングのため、花咲港へ。

 This ship refuels ships. I saw this kind of ship for the first time.

この船は、船に給油する船だそうです。

 We noticed there were birds on the water.

港内に、鳥たちが見えました。

ウトウたちです。今回、会いたかった鳥のひとつ。
