Shima 志摩の旅 6

I visited a lookout point, Motoyama Tenbodai. I took a walk from the nearest bus stop for more than one hour. The destination was amazing!

英虞湾の島々を眺められる場所、登茂山展望台へ。路線バスは夏季限定なので、船越のまちから約１時間、てくてくお散歩。
展望台からの風景は、絶景！　夕暮れの風景も素敵なのでしょう。


There were a few lookout points.
少し離れた展望台から、登茂山展望台を望みます。


I went to another observation point.
現地の地図には、もうひとつ展望台があり、そちらが登茂山展望台となっていました。1.5kmくらい離れていましたが、行ってみました。


I could see Kashikojima where I stayed the night before.
賢島が向こうに見えました。


There was a beach below the observation point.
すぐ下には、砂浜が見えました。次郎六郎海水浴場。


The sunset must be wonderful.
熊野の山々が遠くに見えました。ここも絶景でした～。

Shima 志摩の旅 5

I walked on a hiking trail from Goza to Atsuri Beach.
御座港の近くにありました。金比羅山経由で阿津里浜へ、てくてくお散歩。


There was a shrine, Tsumekiri Fudoson.
爪切不動尊に寄りました。


Two days before, a big typhoon passed near the place. There were many broken branches on the path.
近畿自然歩道。２日前の台風18号の強風のため、道には枝がたくさん落ちていて、歩きにくい。。。


I reached the top of Konpirasan. The panorama view was wonderful.
金比羅山頂は、小さな公園が整備されていました。



I could see the sightseeing boat I took on the day before.
英虞湾に、エスペランサ号。


I walked down to Atsuri Beach. I had to walk over a fallen tree.
しばらく景色を楽しんだあと、阿津里浜の方へ下りました。途中、台風に倒れた木を乗り越えて。


again...
また、乗り越えて。



Atsuri Beach. There was a campsite near the beach.
阿津里浜。このすぐそばに、オートキャンプ場があります。いいところです。



I took a bus from the beach to Funakoshi.
ちょうどバスがやってきたので、船越までバスに乗りました。

Shima 志摩の旅 4

I left hotel, took a boat for Goza which is a fishing village at the end of Shima Peninsula.
朝食後、賢島から定期船に乗って英虞湾を進み、志摩半島先端の御座へ。午前は１便しかないのに、乗客は私ひとり。海上タクシー気分。船の前方に入り口がありました。



There was a shrine next to Goza fishing port.
御座港の近くに鳥居。進んで行くと、




There was a stone image of Buddha called Shio-Botoke in the sea.
「潮仏」と呼ばれる石仏が祀られていました。


My guidebook said that the middle one was Shio-Botoke. But...
ガイドブックに載っていた写真にも、この石仏が真ん中に写っていました。これが潮仏なんだ〜。と、感動。


Today I found out that the biggest stone on the left of this photo was real one...
でも実際は、その石仏のふたつ左の石が、本物の「潮仏」だとか。。。

I was surprised when I entered my room at a hotel. The scenery was gorgeous! It reminded me of my Wakura Onsen trip in March.
夕方、ホテルで部屋を案内されて、この景色。当日予約したのに、最上階の６階の部屋。ワンダフル〜。３月に訪れた、和倉温泉の旅を思い出しました。あの時も部屋から眺める海の風景が最高だった。


I enjoyed the seascape of Ago Bay.
部屋の窓から外を眺めます。英虞湾の美しい海岸線や小さな島が見えます。



This region is famous for Ise-ebi, lobsters!
夕食は、伊勢エビ！



On the following morning, I woke up at 6 a.m.
朝６時に目覚め、また海を眺めていました。



People were working from early morning!
朝早くから、みなさん船を出して仕事をされていました。

I took a sightseeing ship at Ago Bay.
賢島駅近くから、英虞湾遊覧のエスパーニャクルーズへ。30分ごとに大型船のエスペランサ号と小型船が交互に出発。同じ料金なら、エスペランサ号の最上階のデッキから見渡したほうが良い。
平日とはいえ、乗客が５名とはさびしい。。。


Our ship left the pier.
出港。この日宿泊のホテルは、乗り場の近くでした。



The decorated ship seemed as if we were in a fairy tale.
エスペランサ号には、3-4体の人形の乗組員が、メルヘンの世界へいざないます。





This place is famous for pearl cultivation. People were working at pearl oyster farm.
英虞湾内には、真珠の養殖場がたくさん。いつものことなのか、台風直後のためなのか、多くの人たちが船を出して働いていました。





We reached the mouth of the bay. I could see the mountains of Kii Peninsula.
紀伊半島の山々が重なり合って見えました。


Mikimoto Kokichi was invented pearl cultivation in this bay in the Meiji Era.
ミキモト真珠養殖場。高台には、真珠王の御木本幸吉さんが住んでいた家でしょうか。トーマス・エジソンと会見したことがあるなんて、すごいなぁ。

Shima 志摩の旅 1

I had planed to visit Akita Komagatake to see the autumn color. But my flight was cancelled due to a typhoon. I headed to Shima instead of Akita. October 9, I went to Kashikojima by train, visited at Shima Marineland at first.

紅葉の秋田駒ヶ岳を楽しみにしていたのですが、、、台風18号のため、飛行機が欠航。。。　かわりに、どこに行こうか。
10月9日朝、賢島のホテルを予約。近鉄特急に乗って、志摩へ。
まず、賢島駅近くの「志摩マリンランド」へ行ってみました。ペンギンたちがお出迎え。


It was interesting to display fish and their fossils at the same place.
古代水族館では、化石と一緒に生きた化石が展示されているのがおもしろい。




As I put my finger in the water, fish gathered and picked my skin. Junior hight school students on their school trip gathered at the tank, soaked their hands one after another.
手を入れると、魚たちがつついてくる。修学旅行なのか、中学生たちはこの水槽に群がっていました。


There were colorful creatures.
水族館本館では、楽しい生物たち。



These shells are glittering.
光る貝。


These jellyfishes were glittering.
光るクラゲ。


A moray eel has a cute face.
愛嬌のある顔なのに、獰猛なウツボ。


I didn't know that piranhas had shiny body.
獰猛といえば、ピラニア。キラキラしているのですね。


Ocean sunfish was swimming calmly.
「マンボウの泳ぐ水族館」椅子に座ってのんびり眺めるのもいい。


A big ray was swimming with them.
大きなエイも一緒に泳いでいました。


There was a place of the tidal flat.
外には干潟のコーナーもあり、


There were two kinds of mudskipper, Mutsugoro and Tobihaze.
真ん中は、ムツゴロウ。青白い斑点がキラキラきれい。
周りはトビハゼで、ヒレを手のように動かして前へ進んだり、ぴょんぴょん跳んだり。


Tobihaze were fighting here and there. They were cute, but aggressive.
トビハゼは、あちこちで争いがありました。小さめのトビハゼが、大きめのトビハゼのヒレをくわえています。がんばれ〜。
