Iriomote 西表島 1

In the end of April, I went to Iriomote Island to see Crested Serpent Eagle.  I stayed at Ishigaki Island on the first night of my trip, I headed to Iriomote Island on the following morning.

カンムリワシに会いたい！　４月下旬、西表島へ向かいました。石垣島で１泊したあと、朝の船で西表島上原へ。

I went to Ueauchi River from Uehara by Anei bus service. I saw several kinds of birds such as White-breasted Waterhen, Cattle Egret and Crested Serpent Eagle from the bus. I took a walk until the departure of Urauchigawa Cruise.

上原港から安栄観光の送迎バスで浦内川へ。その途中、シロハラクイナやアマサギ、カンムリワシなどの鳥たちがバスから見られました。西表島はすごい！

浦内川のクルーズ始発まで時間があったので、近くをてくてくお散歩。　電線に、

This Crested Serpent Eagle was just after 

目の前に飛んできたカンムリワシは、

hunting.

狩り直後だったようです。

Cattle Egret 

田畑には、アマサギがたくさんいて、

They flew above me.

上空を飛んでいきます。
