Sizihwan 西子灣 1

 I stayed at a hotel near Kaohsiung station for three nights. On November 23, I headed to a subway station to visit Sizih Bay.

This is the old Kaohsiung station building. 

高雄駅近くの西子湾ホテルに３泊。サツマイモの入ったお粥、温かい豆乳、焼き餃子など、バイキングの朝食でお腹いっぱい。日本語を話すスタッフもいて、快適でした。

11月23日は、西子湾辺りに向かいました。

高雄駅近くにあった、旧高雄駅舎。

 The fence were old rails. 

周囲の柵は、線路でできていました。

 I took a subway, got off Sizihwan station. I started walking. 

地下鉄に乗って、西子湾へ。さぁ、てくてくお散歩。

通り沿いのお店の前は、屋根がありました。雨の時に便利だなぁと思いましたが、すぐに南国の高雄では、直射日光が遮られるのがいいと気付きました。

 I found a tunnel between buildings.

建物の合間に、道がありました。

 I walked through the tunnel.

トンネルがあり、人々が通っているので、私も歩いてみました。

 There was an university.

トンネルを抜けると、大学でした。

 I walked along the coast.

南に歩くと、海岸沿いの道。旗津半島にある灯台が見えました。

 There were tropical flowers.

道沿いには、カラフルな花。南国に来たのだと、実感。

 I headed to Former British Consular Residence at Dagou on that hill.

この丘の上に、打狗英国領事館官邸。観光客が多く、私も向かいました。

 I noticed a bird was sucking nectar.

急な階段を登っている時、花の蜜を吸っているメジロに出会いました。

 I walked up the hill. There was a shrine.

階段の上には、お宮がありました。

I had a brief rest.

しばし、休憩。
