Amami - Mangrove マングローブ原生林

We had a lunch at Naze, headed to the Mangrove forest to canoe. There were 4 people on the tour. All people except me tried canoeing for the first time. But after our guide instructed, all of us enjoyed canoeing among mangroves in the river.

名瀬で昼食をすませた後、ツアーはマングローブの原生林へ。参加者は４名。私以外は、カヌー初心者でした。ガイドの指導の後、一人ずつカヌーの乗り込み、マングローブの森へ。

We rowed to the wide river. Someone was fishing on a boat.
幅の広い川へ戻る。ボートで魚釣りをしていた人がいました。



We went to another narrow stream.
I saw a kingfisher flying away. Its back was brilliant blue like jewelry.
再び幅の狭い支流へ。
ここで、カワセミに出会った。飛び立ったカワセミの背中は、宝石のようにきれいなブルー。


Ohirugi. Its red calyx looked like a octopus.
オヒルギ。赤いがくは、タコウインナーみたい。

We went to a foot of a mountain on our way to the river. We saw the huge bean pods, Modama.
これは、マングローブ原生林へ向かう途中、山のふもとで見たモダマ。1mくらいの長さがある、大きな豆。
