Yuzuki Castle 湯築城跡

 I visited Dogo Park near Dogo Onsen.  This park used to be Yuzuki Castle.
道後温泉のすぐそば。道後公園は湯築城跡。
 Yugama
石造湯釜。
 Olive-backed Pipit
遊歩道では、ウオーキングやジョギングする人々。あっ、ビンズイ!
 I walked on the path in this park.
遊歩道をてくてくお散歩。


 There was an observatory on a hill.
高台に展望台がありました。
 I could see Matsuyama Castle over there.
遠くに松山城が見えます。次は松山城へ行こう。
 Iwasaki Shrine
岩崎神社。


 There was a display of Mound.
土塁展示室。


 There used to be samurai houses.
武家屋敷や庭園がここにありました。
 I noticed a bird close to cherry trees.

Isaniwa Shrine 伊佐爾波神社

 I noticed a long stone steps. 
道後温泉に長い石段の上の神社。気になって、行ってみました。
 It was Isaniwa Shrine. I walked up these steps.
伊佐爾波神社(いさにわじんじゃ)











 There was a woods behind the shrine.
神社の後ろには、野鳥たちがたくさん住む林がありました。

Dogo Onsen Festival 道後温泉まつり

 I flew to Matsuyama in Ehime Prefecture on March 20. I stayed at Dogo Onsen one night, enjoyed Dogo Onsen Festival. Dogo Onsen is the oldest hot spring area in Japan.
松山市道後温泉。日本最古の温泉といわれているそうです。

 People were catching Mochi, rice cake.
3月19日から23日は、道後温泉まつりでした。餅まきを楽しむ人々。


 They made an announcement of the statue of Matsuoka Shiki.
この日、松岡子規の像のお披露目式がありました。
 This train is still working. 
駅前には、坊ちゃん列車。現役です。
 There was a hot spring spot for foot by a clock.
時計と足湯。
 At night
時計は夜、ライトアップ。
 It started moving every 30 minutes.
30分ごとに、坊ちゃんの登場人物などがあらわれます。
 It’s a shopping street, Haikara Dori.
駅前から道後温泉本館まで続く、道後ハイカラ通り。
 There are attractive shops.
楽しいお店がたくさんあります。ここは豆菓子やさん。
 Bean snacks of various flavor
いろいろな味の豆菓子。試食もできます。
 At night local people started dancing.
夜、道後温泉おどり。みんな楽しそう!
